[edit] Math Problem

Okay, you have the right mindset, but the math is a little off, so I legally can't give you the prize just yet. You're almost there...just keep at it.

[edit] I need to talk to a sysop

If there is a sysop out there I want to talk to you The-homsarrunner

Well, I suggest you leave a comment on an actual sysop's talk page so they can reply to you faster. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 20:40, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tone of Warnings

Hi The-homsarrunner, I just wanted to point out that yelling (typing all caps) is not proper behavior on this wiki. Please remember also HRW:BITE: you do not need to use such a harsh tone with new and anonymous users. Please give them the benefit of the doubt first and then inform them of what proper wiki behavior is. Tone is everything. --Stux 03:41, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] No

Hey there. I advise you not to say "no" in your comments. Give a descriptive comment, like if its a bad post "Oh, that's not really useful to this article." or "That's that not true, check again." Thank you. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 12:07, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your Sig

Hey The-homsarrunner, I just wanted to let you know that I went ahead and fixed a problem with your sig (a span tag that wasn't closed) that was breaking your talk page entries. Take it easy. --Stux 16:49, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tips for reverting vandalism

Hey The-homsarrunner. Good effort fighting that last vandal we had. I want to point out that there is a way to make your reverts more effective. The vandal made 4 edits in a row before you were able to begin undoing his edits. Using the undo button only takes care of one edit at a time. In the future, you can go to the page's history and find the last good version of the article. In this case, it's the one at 05:24, 2 February 2008 by DorianGray. If you click on the timestamp's link, you'll end up here. All you need to do is click the edit tab up at the top, put "rvv" into the edit summary, and save. That will take care of all the vandal edits at once.

Another way to do it is to jump down the diffs until you come to the last good edit. Let's say you click on the diff link in recent changes, and you end up here. Click on the "Previous diff" link until you see the edit by DorianGray. Then hit the edit button that is right above his name on the "Revision as of ..." line. Put "rvv" in the edit summary and save, and there you are.

Keep on tranglin'
