wow, I.. sorry about my younger self... I was horribly indiscretionate three years ago..

[edit] Strong Bad Reversion

Look, I reverted your edit to Strong Bad because one of them was just plain wrong (Transcripts should ONLY include words spoken by the characters and stage directions - and SB did NOT say "Holy crap" anywhere in his character video!) The other comment was unnecessary and somewhat opinionated (violating the NPOV rule). And your other edit (asking why the page was reverted) was EVEN LESS welcome (this is an information page, not a forum). I don't mean to sound mean, but please refer to the Standards page before editing. --Jay 00:52, 26 Feb 2005 (MST)

[edit] Voting in STUFF Archives?

No offense man, but the STUFF archive is there just so that people can see items that have been voted on previously. There is no need for you to go through and add votes to items that have been long closed. --TheEggman 16:29, 25 Mar 2005 (MST)

Sorry, I didn't realize. I won't do it anymore. Pop tire 16:43, 25 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] Religious Beliefs

Hi there Pop tire. It's nice that you believe in something. Just don't express your beliefs by creating articles here on the Homestar Runner Wiki. Thanks. -- Tom 13:28, 26 Mar 2005 (MST)

Are you sure?! Pop tire 13:49, 26 Mar 2005 (MST)

Am I sure about what? That instead of blocking you, I've given you a nice warning note instead? If so, then yes. -- Tom 14:18, 26 Mar 2005 (MST)

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean that, thank you. Pop tire 19:41, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

But it's not religion, it's a relationship. Pop tire 19:42, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

Dude, yah whatever. But, instead of annoying the crap outta everybody by spreading your religious views, take them to a Christian forum. What if I was a Buddhist, and saw your remarks, don't you think it'd make me mad. Yes it would. So... listen to Tom on this one. --Ookelaylay 21:34, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

This is an old topic, and you really didn't need to bring it up again. --Jay (Talk) 21:37, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
  • looks up* Oh... sorreh... --Ookelaylay 01:48, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!

Welcome to the wiki, Pop tire. I'm looking forward to the positive contributions you'll make here.

There are many other Christians (including me) helping out on the wiki, and we're glad to have you aboard. I do want to echo Tom's comments that evangelizing isn't allowed in our knowledge-base. As he has already said, we try to keep things pretty neutral around here.

On the other hand, we do have a rather active religion and politics section over on our forum, and you're welcome to share your opinions in the discussions there. Of course, you should be as respectful and open-minded as possible when you do participate.

Since no one has officially welcomed you, yet, allow me to offer a few tips to get you started:

  • If you need general information, editing tips, or answers to frequently asked questions, check out the help page.
  • Before you do any significant editing, be sure to familiarize yourself with our wiki standards.
  • If you're not sure what you can do to help out, head over to The Stick.
  • If you're looking for more community interaction, you can also register over at our forum.
  • Above all, be sure to be bold and have fun!

Feel free to delete this message when you're done reading it. Afterall, your user page belongs to you. I hope this information is helpful, and that you'll have a good experience contributing to our knowledge-base and our community. If you have any questions about how things work around here, don't hesitate to ask me or any other members of the welcoming committee. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 20:12, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
