[edit] Welcome!

Whatup, ☮? This SamFisher1022! Welcome to tha communitah! (Okay, I'll stop now.) We're pretty much the authority on Homestar Runner knowledge, and now you're a part of it! Any edits you make are appreciated, but please read the introduction pages and make sure you understand what not to do. Drop by my talk page if you have any specific questions. Holla back! — SamSF%20sig.jpgFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 18:16, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Yo, thank ya kindly fo' tha introducshun, son! I'm-a be all up on that readin' soon enough. Then I unleash mah mad skillz, yo! (Let's see how long I can keep this up...) → ☮y P Y'all biscuitheads! 18:29, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Ooh, nice sig you got there. But so you don't have to type that out every time you make a Talk post, we have instructions for making signature pages here. — SamSF%20sig.jpgFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 18:51, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I gots it hooked up on my preferences from tha "Signature" box. I'll probably make a template for it and put that into the sig box latahs. On the down low. → ☮y P Y'all biscuitheads! 18:57, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Uploading images

Hey there, Peacy P, and welcome to the wiki! I noticed you asked why you are unable to upload images. Brand-new users are unable to upload images to prevent vandals from creating accounts solely to upload offensive images. After a short period of time, new accounts' permissions are changed so that those users can upload images. This should happen for you later today. Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any more questions. Later, Trey56 16:29, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sig rules

HRWiki:Signature: "Your signature must include a text version of your username" — hope that helps. OptimisticFool 06:17, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Ahhhh right. Okay, my bad. Whenever I tried viewing a page on "Signature" I got redirected to closing Strong Bad phrases! Didn't occur to me to check a "HRWiki" namespace. Okay, so I think my sig is now in keeping with the rules. I think! Peacy_p_sig_image.gif "Y'all biscuitheads!" - Peacey P 06:20, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Yup, that'll work :) Trey56 06:22, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
One other thing... It's a bit too long. Needs to fit in this box:
☮y P … "Biscuitheads!" …
. --DorianGray 06:25, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Hmm: It does fit in the sigbox in my browser... Trey56 06:26, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
It does NOW. =3 --DorianGray 06:27, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm going to put in the without using the /sig, hope that won't count AS part of the sig. If so, I'll just use --. :) Sad to see my sig cut down, but understand the rules apply to everyone, even famous rap stars. Peacy_p_sig_image.gif "Y'all biscuitheads!" - Peacey P 06:29, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for all the edits clogging up Recent Changes! :X Okay, so I think this is my final version (barring any other revelations!) ☮y P … "Biscuitheads!" … 06:34, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Looks good in my browser. Sleep well :) Trey56 06:36, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Quick note: though you might see me as someone "well-versed in the HRWiki", I've only been editing the wiki since the end of September (this year). I haven't "seen it all" like some of the SysOps probably have. I'm happy to help where I can, but when it comes to rules, policies, etc. — I'm still a baby. [edit] Derailed Emails

Hey there, Peacy. In the future, please wait for a talk page discussion to conclude before you take action like changing the name of an article. That's what the discussion is for. Just imagine what would happen if everybody would just move the article to their suggested name instead of posting it on the talk page ;-) Keep on tranglin. Loafing 00:04, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm not logging in again, but suffice to say - "Be Bold". I believe a good while had passed without any further discussion, so I took a positive action. Well, goodbye. (Would appreciate if no one further contacted me here.) -- 03:13, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Moving an article without consensus - and especially with complete disregard for other users' opinions - is not postive action. Loafing 04:01, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
(Logged in to delete from my userpage without it being seen as vandalism.) Anyway, the discussion stopped, one or two folks agreed with me, there was no other name that had the same amount of thin support, and no one's opinion was disregarded. So... whatever. Doesn't matter. Go ahead and change it to "emails_in_which_the_subject_of_the_letter_was_ignored" or whatever it is now, and crap up the wiki some more. What do I care? -- ☮y P … "Biscuitheads!" … 04:25, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
