[edit] Cursed Flask!
Do you think Ye Flask was cursed? After all, there's no other way the Dungeonman could pick it over maidens.
[edit] Capitalization
I recently attempted to standardize that capitalization of this article. Since the opening preferred "Ye Flask", both words capitalized, I went this way. But in video games, it is not capitalized. I don't really care which we go, but we need to use a consistent standard in this article. Heimstern Läufer 01:00, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I noticed this just now too, and was going to bring it up. I prefer that we not capitalize ye flask. —BazookaJoe 21:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Addendum: I searched the walkthroughs/responses of II and III to see if ye flask, yon dungeon, etc. have been capitalized in those games, and it doesn't seem like they are. This fixation with capitalizing Ye Flask and Yon Dungeon might have been leaked into the wiki conscience through use and misuse of Title Case. Sequentially, BazookaJoe 21:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Fine by me as long as we're consistent. Heimstern Läufer 21:38, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Years and hundreds of dungeons
I haven't played the Thy Dungeonman trilogy in its entirety, so can someone who knows more than I do please check the factual accuracy of this:
- It is somewhat of a fixation for the character Thy Dungeonman, as he has been searching for it his entire thy dungeonlife through years of searching and hundreds of dungeons..
In other words, source please. Does he really go through hundreds of dungeons in the games? And do the games say that he has been looking for it for years? Thanks, BazookaJoe 00:16, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Source: Thy Dungeonman 3. When typing "GET YE FLASK" at the flask screen, you get:
This tis it! After years of searching and hundreds of dungeons, thou art finally going to get ye flask! Ye reaches out thy trembling hand and...
- So there you go. --DorianGray
- Sweet, thanks. I must have been too lazy to search for it. —BazookaJoe 04:52, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Me can't get ye flask (article of the week?)
I don't plan to make as big a deal out of this as I have out of other stuff, but does anyone else find it strange this was article of the week, while Dancin' Bubs, Strong Libs, and Homestar Talker were each only article of the day? Bad Bad Guy 21:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, that was like, a theme week, when we did old games like "Dancin' Bubs, Strong Libs, and Homestar Talker" each day. Bluebry 21:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
I meant to say that I don't think Ye Flask is as deserving of article of the wk as those toons are. Bad Bad Guy 23:25, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
