[edit] Article

This article is something we don't need. If they turn this into a running gag, we should have this article, but for now, we shouldn't have it. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 17:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

It's not supposed to be a running gag, but an item. Items can appear once and still have an article. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:57, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
We should establish a policy on this; Coach Z Ale was deleted for being a throwaway joke. Trey56 18:22, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
No, it was deleted because it was moved to Minor Foods. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:49, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Right, but my point is that it wasn't given its own article. Trey56 19:19, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I"m refering you to Pasta Salad and it's talk. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:43, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Why do people do this for "interesting" items from each cartoon? Awexome 20:13, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Awexome: As it stands now, these are the inclusion guidlines. Although they are just guidelines and not actual rules, werefer to them when articles are discussed. If you want to suggest changing them, then put it on HRWiki talk:Inclusion guidelines. Putting longstanding articles for deletion to serve a point is not going to help, as each article is judged individually. By the way, one-time objects and characters used to have articles since the beginning of the wiki. If we plan to call ourselves an encyclopedia, we need to document almost everything of interest. Even LELLOWTAPE. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 21:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Putting long-standing articles up for discussion because of a disagreement with the guidelines can also be considered gaming the system. If you have issues with the article with respect to existing guidelines and policy, then post on article's talk. If the issue is with the policy, post on policy talk. If it only appears once, I don't think it should have its own page. If it appears a few more times, then we could be able to keep it. Religious Corn   21:36, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Items like this only need to appear once. Take a look at this, and this. Both are toys, which are a subcategory of Items. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 21:47, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I have no real opinion on this article... but a couple things about your last comment... First, "LELLOWTAPE" isn't in any way, shape, or form, a "toy". Second, those two objects you linked to at least had some significance to the scenes they were in. This... is just a background object. -YKHi. I'm Ayjo! 23:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
