While I am not so against it or anything to do the tbd template, I'm thinking this page would be better if it were limited to instances where batteries are seen in situations one would not normally find them. So, for example, the remote control "battery fault" bit doesn't seem to fit in the theme. I'd like to know how others feel. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- I disagree, it'd seem odd to NOT have them on this page. It'd also seem odd to say in the intro "The following is a list of all batteries found in the Homestar Runner universe that are found in places or situations unlike the places and situations one might normally find a battery." - As the creator of this page, I'm glad you brought it up. I wasn't sure whether to include the "battery fault" reference, but I decided to err on the safe side. You're absolutely right that the purpose of this page is to showcase the unusual contexts in which batteries are brought up, but I'm unsure what to do with the battery fault. I can see how it could go either way (while it's a notable appearance of batteries, the joke seems to be more about Strong Bad's disqualification than the batteries themselves), so I figured I would include it and allow someone else to delete it if it was deemed irrelevant. - I think it should stay. All the "general object" lists have several appearances that are considered unique, and some that are less. In our case, the batteries were part of the joke and appeared written on screen. In my opinion, it's qualified. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:12, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
