Can you please delete my user page? DBK! 20:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Done. I would request either putting a short note up there instead now, or alternatively changing your signature so that it doesn't point towards a red link. Thunderbird 20:29, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Help: Vandalism

Two IP guys vandalized this page. Could you temporarily protect it? - BubTalk

Protecting a page due to vandalism is only done after persistant attacks. Two or three vandalism is hardly reason to protect a page. Thunderbird 03:14, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
I know why it was vandalized... AlliterativeAssociate 04:12, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

New Page

I need help starting a new page. Do you have any ideas?--H*Bad 03:26, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

If you don't know what page to start, chances are it doesn't need created. I would reccomend instead improving existing pages. Thunderbird 03:27, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
I was thinking of a page that was about when Homestar says something that sounds like he just read the first line/ listened to the first part of something. Like this: "Sir or madam, are you all right? Do you need medical..." Does that sound good?--H*Bad 04:17, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Can you think of more than three or four instances? If not, it's really not notable beyond a Fun Fact. Thunderbird 04:21, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Also in isp. I am looking for more.--H*Bad 04:25, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Or I could make it into a running gag.--H*Bad 04:26, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
If you feel it has substantial merit and content, then you can try to create it. The worst that'll happen is it'll be put up for deletion. Thunderbird 04:33, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
What should I call the page?--H*Bad 04:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
If you feel you have a plausible name for the page, then you can try to create it. The worst that'll happen is it'll be put up for a move to a better title, leaving behind a redirect. Thunderbird 05:01, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Here it is. Although I think it needs some fixing. Homestar's one line lessons--H*Bad 05:08, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Helscome Our Wedsite

What does helscome our wedsite mean? H*Bad 20:44, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

It's a quote from Homestar's Website. --DorianGray
Oh, huh. Very good then, carry on.--H*Bad 20:58, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Tweak

Um.. Why are you tweaking my welcome message?--H*Bad 00:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

I belive Tom has already told you before, that the usermessage class was designed with one purpose in mind. Using it for other things makes them look poor, there's much too much orange. In addition, substing your {{PAGENAME}} template makes it look more personalized. If they try to reply to the message, without it being subst'd they're greeted with "Welcome, PAGENAME!" (not very welcoming). I'm sure you understand. Thunderbird 00:55, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Ok. I thought that the Subst thing he was talking about was to make sure nothing gets messed up. Do you think I should change it also at the fanstuff?--H*Bad 00:58, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

He was talking about substing the template as a whole, but substing the PAGENAME template is also a good idea. If you're changing it here, you may as well change your fanstuff welcome too if you wish. Thunderbird 01:02, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

User page

Is it against the rules to delete something on someones user page, if its offensive. Like User:Almerrick1111.--H*Bad 01:04, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Never edit another user's userpage. If something needs edited, a sysop will do it. Thunderbird 01:06, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

{Salutes} Yes sir.--H*Bad 01:07, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

User Page

Hey can you delete my user page? thanx --Almerrick1111 23:19, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

DELETE MY USER PAGE PLEASE!!!!

Ok I seriously need you to delete my user page please do it fast. PLEASE!!! --Almerrick1111 23:27, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

It's dot com already deleted your userpage. Did you want your talk page deleted as well? Thunderbird 23:28, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Oops I was wrong

I need you to delete my ACCOUNT. Sorry my bad. but can you do that please? --Almerrick1111 23:30, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

No. We rarely delete accounts. The most we ever do is block them. May I ask, why is it so urgent? Thunderbird 23:31, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
I went ahead and deleted the talk page as well, but TBird is correct: we don't routinely delete accounts. — It's dot com 23:33, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Delorted

i ask you to delete my user-thing, thankyou--Thunderpantz 23:33, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Your userspace has also been deleted. Thunderbird 23:35, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello from Nikolce

How are thunderbird, anything happen to you recently? How are in school?

By the way, i like you user page, very neat.

Nikolce Kocovski 07:08, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I'm going on a trip this weekend, so I won't be around much until Tuesday. Thanks for asking. Thunderbird 07:36, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Around

Hey Thunderbird L17, I have noticed that you haven't been around much lately. I was wondering if you were ok.--H*Bad 15:30, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm fine, life has just been getting busy lately. I'm still around, just not as much. Thanks for your concern though. Thunderbird 01:46, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Well its cool to see you around still though. Also, nice sig.--H*Bad 02:57, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Pop

Curious as to what your issue is with User:Color Printer/Pop. According to our policy, it's OK to have a subpage for "a work in progress, until it is ready to be released". I saw no evidence of a user template there. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 01:44, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I included User:Color Printer/Project in there. Sorry, I didn't know I was doing something wrong. --Color Printer 01:45, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
I see it now. Actually, that might not be a bad idea for a wiki template for use by any user... hmm... Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 01:46, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, it wasn't a big deal or anything. I have no problem with a similar communial template, I actually like the idea of it. But that template as a user subpage had no reason to be nested, when the contents could easily just be duplicated at the top. Hope I didn't offend anyone. Thunderbird 05:06, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Help!

My page is broken. I need help. Can you fix it? User:Strong Badman or User:Strong Badman 2

Hey dude, I am going away

Hey Thunderbird, I am offically leaving this Wiki. You were the sysop who helped me out the most, so I thought I would tell you I am going away. Thanks for what you do for the Wiki man. Not just you, but everyone else. I remember the one good thing I did on the Wiki, and that was helping Has Matt? stop a troll. Adios everyone! Beat 01:49, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

No problem. Though it seems you've been pretty inactive since March, so it looks like there won't really be much of an immediate change in your presence here. In any case, glad that I could help. Thunderbird 23:36, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Huh-whaa??

Did you catch a raven, or is no longer important to you to do so? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 03:20, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Haha. Well originally my task was to "Get a Danish", then later to "Catch a Raven", but at this point in my life I've decided to change my priorities, and simply wait for come what may. Perhaps one day I'll throw one of those tasks back up there, already crossed off, or perhaps even a different but similar one, but for now that kind of goal is no longer in my immediate sights. Thunderbird 03:26, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I can understand giving up on a raven, but a Danish? Come on, this is accomplishable! Don't quit on that! What message are you sending to the UM-13's? You can't do what's in your reach? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 03:30, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I haven't given up. Though I do plan on someday getting a danish, a raven, or something similar, I'm not actively pursuing such a goal at this time. One day, definently. If I were presented a danish, a raven, or something else tomorrow, I'd seriously consider accepting it. But for the time being the pursuit of such has been pushed to the back of my priorities. It's not that its not accomplishable, I've just re-considered my future goals. Thunderbird 03:36, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Not done and not done

I didn't want to litter IRF's page with talkage, but your birthday wish is barely readably on a computer screen. The image is too small and the color is a bit faded. It's your birthday wish, but I'm just pointing out. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 22:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm... Seems to be fine on my computer. I thought images were more or less universal for size and quality from the source, but I could be totally wrong on that. Perhaps I'll ask IRF, since he's the only one who really needs a solid copy-and-paste of the image anyways. Thanks for the heads up! Thunderbird 22:08, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Images that are small on a monitor (especially if they contain fine lines) almost never look good in printed form. That's been my experience as a printer. — It's dot com 22:11, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi, no probalo. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 22:12, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
*Sigh*, I suppose I'll re-make it bigger then. In my experance, resizing a scanned printed message usually makes it choppy or pixely, so I was going for "actual size". Would you reccomend a larger printing size, thicker tip, etc? Thunderbird 22:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, if it's handwritten and scanned, probably the best thing to do would be to just scan it again... Find some resolution setting in the scanning software and knock that up a couple of notches... Your average screen is around 72 or 96 DPI, for printing you generally want something in the order of 300... give or take a factor of 2, depending on the quality you're after. My signature was only about 3cm long on paper, but it's a hires scan. --phlip TC 03:16, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
