Hello. I'd like to direct your attention to :File:SB bathroom.PNG and :File:LaundryRoom.PNG, which are just two examples of images that you've replaced recently. I don't have a problem with updated or stitched-together versions of images, but if the content of the new image is dramatically different from the previous version, the new version should be uploaded under its own filename, especially if the old image has stood for years. With rare exceptions, we should completely overwrite an image only to improve some technical or compositional aspect of the image without changing the subject. — It's dot com 23:42, 3 September 2017 (UTC) | Hello. :Okay, thanks! I understand, but I'm not quite sure why this is so important. If I simply replace the content of an image, hardly anything else will have to be updated. If I upload it under a new name, I'd have to replace the name of the image on all of the pages the old version was used on, and the old version will be unused and have to be deleted. If the image will only become useless, why not just change it instead? Replacing the content will have the same effect on the pages, but with less work, and nothing will have to be deleted. Additionally, both images are only used on two pages, so replacing the content won't make too much of a difference. Anyway, I'm fine with this rule, and I'll remember to follow it in the future, but I'd just appreciate an explanation. 00:56, 4 September 2017 (UTC) | :Okay, thanks! + | :: We would not delete the old versions. It's not hurting anything for them to stay on the server. (In fact, from a technical standpoint, the only difference between uploading under a new name and "overwriting" an existing image is a little bit of database overhead; none of the old versions are ever really gone unless we take extra steps. In addition, the only images we tend to delete are personal images.) The problem with uploading noticeably different content over a longstanding image is that it makes it impossible to properly view a previous version of a page. We also never know when an unused image might become relevant again. — It's dot com 01:31, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

+ | Look here bud... My contributions were worth while... OK? (My notices and legal stuff were kinda stupid... BUT STILL!) The reason I edited that "FeedBruner" Article was because none of the "Old Feed Content was not old and is still on the FEEDBRUNER! So I suggest you all get with the program, and by "program", I mean the guidelines set forth on... Er... Eeeerrr... OH YEAH! https://www.gov.uk! (Oh wait I don't own that website... DOH! + | ::Wait, what?! Okay... that's weird. I distinctly remember seeing CoachZiscool's edit, checking the FeedBurner page, and seeing that the old content wasn't there before reverting the edit. I dunno, it might've had something to do with my browser cache... maybe I just didn't check thoroughly enough... I'm not sure what happened there. So I guess you were right. Sorry about that.
+ | ::Also, no need to be so aggressive. Were you frustrated about the message I left on your talk page? I wasn't mad at you in the slightest, I was just giving you some pointers. Just trying to help you out, that's all. But if you were kind of angry about your edit being reverted by me... yeah, that I can kind of understand. I might be a bit frustrated if that happened to me too. I'm still not sure how I missed those old messages.
+ | ::Also also, I'm not sure what the "defacements" box-style-type on your userpage is all about. I've never edited your userpage, much less defaced it. The only other person who has edited your userpage is Dot com, and it wasn't a defacement, it was for a good reason. (By the way, I like that Coach Z on your userpage. + | : I should point out that if you had included an edit summary stating why you made the change to that page, this could potentially have been avoided. Edit summaries are especially important when the reason for a change isn't obvious, and edits that outright remove data without explanation are often reverted with prejudice, at least until we can figure out what's going on. Edit summaries help us do that, so please use them. — It's dot com 18:13, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

bit o help there?Sup Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, Im here to give you a couple pointers on a few things. 3. Show Preview: I've that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I'd like to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right, or checking to se if the above templates exist. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded.
Outdated ConversationsHey Gfdgsgxgzgdrc; just thought you should know that it is generally advised not to reply to conversations that are more than a couple months old unless you have an argument of some kind to bring up. People are on the ball around here, and things are generally taken care of pretty quickly. basically, pay more attention to the timestamps. if there isn't one, look around the talk post for others that are logically nearby. If the talk post was added in 2006, the discussion is probably dead by now. Also, if you want to put something on the talk page of a user who hasn't been here in a while, on the left side of the screen, right under the search box is a "toolbox" menu. you can click on "User contributions" in that menu and see how long ago the most recent date was. If they haven't been here in a couple years, maybe refrain from putting anything on their talk page. These are just basic guidelines to follow to keep the wiki running more smoothly.
April Fools'Regarding your recent edit to the Main talk page, it's not as bad of an idea imo as the follow-up edit would suggest. The problem with your idea this time is the fact that you suggested it in the first place. If you spend much time on the forum, it's just like proposed Halloween costumes: suggesting one practically eliminates any chance of it ever being used on the site. It removes the element of surprise. Additionally, as far as i'm aware, the bureaucrats aren't really looking for suggestions, and even if they were, they would not want the suggestions to be publicly announced for the same reason. However, if you believe that it is a great April Fools' Day prank, you are more than welcome to replace your user page with it when the time comes. Scalawaggery"It's", with the apostrophe, is always short for "it is". If "it is" does not make sense, the correct spelling is "its". You wouldn't say "Strong Bad's Computer Exceeding It Is Technical Specifications", would you? --Jay (Gobble) 02:23, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Homsar WikiHey Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, I noticed that picture you have of Homsar. It's really funny. I was bored and decided to make an improved one for you, but you don't have to use it though. Hope you like it! Tenerence Love

Edit SummariesHi Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, I wanted to drop a reminder about edit summaries. I wish I had noticed this sooner but almost none of your contributions have any edit summaries. Edit Summaries help other editors know at a glance what it is that your edits are changing. So please don't neglect edit summaries and let the community know what it is that you're working on. Thanks and keep on tranglin'. --Stux 19:00, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

Nope. Thanks! Sorry to bother you, but can you make the picture a link to my talk page? Thanks, Incomplete articles are not necessarily stubsYou nearly doubled the size of that article. (Great! Unfortunately the "Others" section is rather unwieldy and is in dire need of further organization.) Still, that didn't necessarily make it a stub. A stub is an article that is so bare bones that it can't be considered encyclopedic yet. The stub template is supposed to be a cue to the reader that the current content is basically a placeholder. Once there's some real meat to the article, it loses its stub status, even if it can still be expanded quite a bit. Likewise very short articles that can't be expanded because there's nothing else to add are not stubs. They're just short. I did a random sampling of the articles currently in the stub category and noticed that most of them are probably not stubs. Also, edit summaries of articles are in general a poor place to make editorial comments directed at specific users. Cheers. — It's dot com 05:15, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

Subtitle TipsHey there! First of all, thanks for doing the subtitles. And so far, they've been great! But I want to give a few criticisms if you're fine with that. First, you should edit in your subtitles in one go. Use Notepad++ (I recommend Notepad++ heavily) or whatever text editor you desire and just type down the whole subtitles and release it in one go. There's really no point in releasing it in segments like with transcripts. Speaking of transcripts, don't include elements in transcripts such as italics on shows or other material like Seinfeld and don't include notes such as {speaking in a southern accent}. Transcripts are supposed to be a secondary source of the toons' actions while subtitles are meant to be a guide to the toons. Subtitles are supposed to simply show what the characters are saying and nothing else. (Besides SFX) Also, speaking of editing, test, test, test. Your last subtitles update has numerous errors in it, including a pretty obvious error with a line's start being before the end of a former line and an odd error where you had a starting bracket in the middle of a line which the all-in-one mistakes for a target. Testing subtitles before release and checking the timings to be as close as you want are good ways to make great subtitles. Other than that... you did a great jorb. -
Anahnimus KuntribewtoreYour edit summaries have not gone unappreciated. TheThingé 06:07, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Creating redirects for a potential renameHey, I've noticed that a couple of times, there has been a discussion of renaming an article, and you've created a redirect in the intended move space to the already existing title. This actually achieves the opposite result than what we're looking to do, since it effectively keeps the page from being moved to that title. (I once tried to move Family Resemblence to the correct spelling of "resemblance" but was informed that I couldn't because the redirect was in place. I didn't know at the time that it was intentionally spelled that way.) Most recently you supported a move from "Keyboard Strong Bad" to "Casio Head Strong Bad", but then you created that redirect back to the original title. If we want to move it, we don't want the "Casio Head Strong Bad" redirect to exist, or it probably won't be moved there, as was the case with The Brothers Chaps' Side Projects with its suggested move to The Brothers Chaps' Other Projects. If you could chill on that for a while, that'd be great.
Transparent imagesHi, Gfdgsgxgzgdrc. I've noticed you've been uploading images with transparent backgrounds. I question the necessity of that because it removes important context from the images. If you think this is something we should embrace, I'd like to see a discussion on HRWiki:Standards about it first. Even if we do decide to do it, you should not overwrite the old images. Please upload using a new filename instead. — It's dot com 03:06, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
WhoaWow, I didn't realize you were CoolGuyBug from Scratch! I'm i-like-luigi, by the way, if you didn't already know. -- About "Cut it out"Hey. Just thought I'd mention something to you: Usually, telling a troll or vandal to stop won't help. Many of them actually like it when people are angry or annoyed at them, so in some cases, it may only encourage them toward more trolling and/or vandalism. Usually it's best just to make a simple edit summary like "rv/v". Anyway, thanks for the reverts, and keep on tranglin'. Heimstern Läufer
