Monty Python
Am I the only one who thinks the Heavy Lourde refers to the "16 Tons" weight from Monty Python's Flying Circus that would sometimes be dropped on a character to end a sketch prematurely? It might qualify as a RWR; let me know what you guys think. Toilet Duck 16:38, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Punctuation and spelling
Although Strong Bad says he will "keep making fun of your punctuation and spelling", no emails up to this point had punctuation errors.
Does "Keep making fun of something" have to refer part emails? Beacause Strong Bad is still making fun of others' punctuation and spelling. If there's going to be a full discussion on this, I'll move it to STUFF. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 10:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Dial SB For Murder
There has been a bit of back-and-forth on whether SB killed Homsar. I'm seeing a strong argument for both sides of the issue. On the one hand, he was "completely crushed" by a Heavy Lourde, and as such must have been killed; cartoon physics (or, perhaps, metaphysics in this case) is all that allows him to have recovered. On the other hand, one could also use cartoon physics to argue that the Heavy Lourde somehow did not kill him, as it's evident he's quite alive.
I'm inclined to side with the "not killed" viewpoint. Was Wile E. Coyote killed each time he failed to snag the Road Runner, and was instead crushed/blown up/shattered/etc.? I don't think that's sensible. Anyway, as it's been rv and rv a few times I'd like to see if there's any consensus on this. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- We don't have to look at non-TBC toons for examples. For some H*R characters we do assume that they get killed several times. Of course, the Teen Girl Squad cartoon physics is a bit wilder than the normal H*R one, but so is cartoon physics when it comes to Homsar. I believe we should assume that Homsar was killed here, as this is what the email suggests and what SB refers to when he thanks the email writer. Loafing

- On the date this email debuted, I am sure that Homsar was supposed to be dead. Obviously, TBC couldn't kill off Homestar, but because Vinnie made his fateful spelling error, they were free to create and immediately squish a character. - This is what I think: Homsar was killed, but then TBC brought him back, no explanation needed. I mean, it's a cartoon, not a serious 1-hour drama show on some popular TV network. Characters can die and suddenly be perfect in eight seconds. By summary, I assume you mean the summary at the top, well, I think it's perfect.
