"Eh! Steve!"

A Sweet Cuppin' Cakes inspired main page, from crazy cartoon.

Cast (in order of appearance): Homestar Runner, The Worm, Sherlock, Keyboard Strong Bad, Eh! Steve, The Wheelchair

Place: Sweet Cuppin' Cakes Land

Date: May 26, 2003

Icon: Eh! Steve

Page title: "Sweet Cuppin Cakes"

Button Effects

  • Toons - The floor flashes a bunch of different colors and the theme music plays.
  • Games - The Worm pokes its head out of its hole. Sherlock almost falls on it but it moves out of the way and goes back in its hole. Sherlock floats off the screen.
  • Characters - Keyboard Strong Bad comes out and plays a keyboard rhythm.
  • Downloads - Eh! Steve comes up, looks back and forth, and leaves. Scroll again, and he'll come back and belt out his catch phrase, "EH! STEVE!"
  • Store - The background pulls back to reveal the page's source coding.
  • Email - The Wheelchair appears in the background and says, "I know you're out there somewhere, Eh! Steve. I'll blast you 'til tomorrow nooooooon!" before leaving.

Fun Facts

  • Strong Bad's head is a Casio VL-1. It plays the demo track, which is most famous for its use in the song "Da Da Da" by Trio.
  • The HTML code shown when you drag your mouse over "Store" used to be the HTML code on the page, before the navigation bar was Flash.
  • The sound that plays when you mouse over "Store" plays backwards when you take the mouse off it.
  • If you right-click and check 'play', the theme music will play until you scroll over either "Toons" or "E-Mail".
  • This is one of only four main pages to have Homestar in his regular outfit, size, and style; and of those, this one is the only one where nothing special happens with him; he merely stands at the front and says the various words.
  • As of April 2nd, 2006, rolling-over Store produces no sound effect and is faster in the process. Also, Sherlock doesn't mumble when Games is rolled-over, nor does the "helicopter" sound play when he flies off, and The Wheelchair's scene after rolling over the Email button has poor audio-video syncing. This is possibly the result of the 2006 April Fools gag (in which all pages were flipped upside down, causing some rather interesting results).
  • Clicking and dragging the store button onto another button will make the 'source coding' background stay in the background until you move the pointer back over the store button.
  • Taking your mouse off "Toons" will cause the update buttons, the Weeklies buttons, the First Time Here? button, the links to the other Main Pages, and the Copyright notice to disappear for a split second and reset the update button to the first update shown.
