HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 1 (Dec 29-Jan 4)

For this week, and the start of the new year, I decided that we should finally use That Game Dude's suggestion that has been proposed for several weeks but kept getting bumped off: the email winter pool. Now that all of the major holidays are out of the way, I think we can do that one at last. MHarrington 17:24, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

I'd be a hypocrite to say no. That Game Dude 386 20:49, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
After all, what better way to ring in the new year than to sink into a pool full of gelatin? Heimstern Läufer 02:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I have to agree with you on that one Heimi. Who wouldn't? Support winter pool. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 14:46, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Winter pool? Sounds good to me TATPOJ121 21:58, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that'd be perfect. It'd be the first time we ever did a post-2006 email. MHarrington 21:59, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 2 (Jan 5-11)

In the past, about this week, we usually feature something related to either 20X6 or Trogdor. This year, I was thinking of doing both at the same time with the Trogdor-centric toon: Happy Trogday. MHarrington 00:05, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm up for it! DrPepper42 02:04, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
With a 20X6 reference to boot! That Game Dude 386 02:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I was thinking Trogday 08. It is the newest Trogdor-related cartoon and there is some historical significance (with the theme of The S is for sucks dragon) Any takers?TATPOJ121 01:23, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Who said it had to be a new toon? MHarrington 01:39, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
No one. just a suggestion.TATPOJ121 03:25, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
I think Trogday 08 is a good idea for sometime, but since Happy Trogday was suggested first and has a high degree of support, we should go for that this time. Incidentally, Tatpoj, if there's already a suggestion on this page and you make a new suggestion, it's best to make sure you address the previous suggestions and why you think yours is preferable (this is not really a vote, but rather a discussion). Keep on keeping on! Heimstern Läufer 03:33, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Also, I personally think we should do TSifS before Trogday 08. JCM 01:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Happy Trogday. Tooty-Two

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 3 (Jan 12-18)

This will mark a while since we've done a character or pseudocharacter. I think it would be well worth our time to feature Tire: A remarkably detailed article about an inanimate object that is nonetheless often treated as a character. Heimstern Läufer 13:19, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

That'd be a great one! MHarrington 01:58, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm surprised ol' Poppy the Tire wasn't featured already! Go for it! Strongkinghomsarsmith 02:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
After becoming the national symbol of The Cheat and Tireia, it's a good time to feature the sole inhabitant of Strong Badia. That Game Dude 386 21:58, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 4 (Jan 19-25)

While we are on the subject of former countries in Strong Badia The Free, I think we should do a location that needs an article badly: namely, Club Technochocolate (formerly Pompomerania). It's been a while since we've done an actual location anyway. MHarrington 17:13, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

It seems like a solid article to me; I'm cool with it. Heimstern Läufer 08:06, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
As a location in the HR universe, I'm down with it, but we should feature SBCG4AP and all the games in it before we start listing SBTF loctions... or better yet, we could do SBCG4AP and the games on a daily baisis, like we did for Puppet Jams and other puppet stuff a while back. Sound good? Otherwise, Club Technochocolate is good, but I think we can hold it off until SBCG4AP has been featured... That Game Dude 386 14:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm not talking about doing Pompomerania, I'm talking about just doing what it really is: Club Technochocolate. As for doing SBCG4AP on a weekly basis, we only have five episodes, not seven. And any of them would work well solo, I think. So I'm only talking about Club Technochocolate for this week. MHarrington 18:06, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
OK, CTC is good, and next week I'll elaborate on my plans to feature SBCG4AP... That Game Dude 386 21:36, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 5 (Jan 26-Feb 1)

OK, so here's my proposal for an SBCG4AP week: We feature SBCG4AP, SBCG4AP Dev Blog, and each of the five episodes daily. Great idea, or no? That Game Dude 386 00:41, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Except maybe for the Dev Blog, I think those are all important enough to get a whole week, not just a day. How about just SBCG4AP for now, and feature the individual episodes another time? Heimstern Läufer 00:45, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
OK. Man, I still can't beleive we haven't already done it! That Game Dude 386 00:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
I think we were waiting to feature it until all 5 episodes were released, and until it was cleaned up a little bit. Personally, I think the actual SBCG4AP page should just be a disambig sometimes, and I certainly don't think it's ready for featuring. Acam30 16:14, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Wow! Look who forgot to read the article before she commented again! *hits head on keyboard<nowik>*</nowiki> Nevermind guys, Disregard. Acam30 16:17, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'm sure we can do SBCG4AP now. Not the individual games, but just the series as a whole. MHarrington 18:11, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Note to Acam30: Although in current times they haven't been released, by the time we get to feature this article, it'll be late Janurary... I sure hope they've all been released for a while!!! That Game Dude 386 22:50, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Rest assured TGD, they will all be out by this time. I found out that 8-Bit Is Enough will be released this upcoming Monday (on the 15th). MHarrington 17:35, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Never doubted for a minute.;) That Game Dude 386 01:14, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
We did plan to do nightlife after club technochoclate. Lets do nightlife. Raiku 22:28, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Why don't we save that one for, say, something in the summer? MHarrington 00:03, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
