File:sb evolution origbook.jpg | This is the first Strong Bad design. | 1996 | Original Book, flashback, Main Page 20 | N/A
File:sb evolution snes.jpg | This was the second early design of Strong Bad. | 1996 | Super NES | He now has black pants, teeth and his boxing gloves are slightly larger.
| This was the third early design of Strong Bad, his face starts to form into his current version. | 2000 | Marshmallow's Last Stand, Old Characters Page, Character Cards, personal favorites | His mouth is now pink, his eyes are green, his diamond and that other silver thing are now on his head, and he seems to have grown. Also, his eyes seem to be inside his mask, not outside. His voice is notably much more hispanic than it currently is.
| Reddest Radish Strong Bad | 2000 | The Reddest Radish | Similar to the third design, only now he's a cut-out, badly colored-in piece of paper, with black pants instead of blue. Also, his belly button is no longer visible, and his eyes go from green to a bluish color.
| This was the fourth design of Strong Bad. | 2000 | A Jumping Jack Contest | His red has gotten darker, his feet are red, boxing gloves bigger, and there's more shading, also the outline has gotten thinner. His voice is still somewhat hispanic, but to a lesser extent; the current Strong Bad voice is becoming more noticable.
File:sb evolution luau.png | This was the fifth design of Strong Bad. | 2000 | Strong Bad Sings, A Jorb Well Done, The Luau, Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True, All Strong Bad Emails from some kinda robot to halloweener | His red has gotten darker, his feet are red, boxing gloves bigger, and there's more shading, also the outline has gotten thinner. Around this point Strong Bad loses the "I'm the bad guy" role to more of this mean funny cool guy.
| This is the current design of Strong Bad. | 2001 | brianrietta to current | He now has a reflection to his eye, and outline isn't as black any more. Also, the black in his mask turned to a lighter shade of gray. By now, the hispanic accent has, more or less, gone away and evolved into a much more relaxed voice.
