Using Show Preview

Hello Lazylaces, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, I R F 15:11, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Signature

Hey—I like your signature! Nothing brightens up a talk page quite like Strong Sad's severed head :) By the way, do you know how to save your signature so that you can leave it whenever you want by typing three tildes (~~~)? Help:Signature has instructions on how to do it; let me know if you have any questions. High fives, Trey56 21:37, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but seems to me like you're copying and pasting you're own signature. I don't know if you're aware of this (forgive me if you are), but you can also have your signature stored in your user space. The Help:Signature page has all the instructions on how to use it and I'm sure it would save you lots of effort. --Stux 21:31, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

What?

What are you talking about? Lazylaces Talk 13:24, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

What I mean is that we have a page so that when you hit the signature button on the editor (the one that pastes the --~~~~ symbols into the text, automagically copies your signature into the page you're editing! At least my guess is that you're manually copying your signature into the text, since your signature appears in full text. (Unlike say, Trey56's which comes up as {{User:Trey56/sig}}). --Stux 13:41, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
BTW since this wiki is so small, we have a habit of keeping all discussions in one user page in order to keep the flow of the conversation. Weird, huh? (Okay so I think the Wikipedia's way is sorta weird, but necessary.) --Stux 13:44, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Need I say this?

As you know your sig image has a gray background in it, you might want to use this image instead, since it has a transparent background. --Stux 16:14, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
