Yeah I got a question for anybody, how to you add pictures to your user page? I can't fuigure it out- Homestramy20 06:15, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Glad to help you out! First off, you need to find an image that you like. The best place for you to look for one is at Cheatachu72's User Page. When you find the image, click on it. You will see the name title on the title of the page. Put two brackets on the side and you will be done! here is an example of what you should do. Ohh okay thanks :D I think I got it now Homestramy20 06:15, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hi Kelsey. I'm so pleased that you're contributing here at the wiki. I see that you want to be a graphic designer. I'm a graphic designer, too! I'm actually here at the printing company where I work. What software do you use? Illustrator? Photoshop? InDesign? QuarkXPress? Those are the main ones we have here. Anydangways, I wanted to bring your attention to the "Show preview" button in the editing window. It allows you to see your changes, but doesn't make a new entry in the recent changes list. Take a look at that link real quick and you'll see what I mean. Also, when you want to sign your name, just type four tildes, like this: ~~~~
. That will insert your signature and a timestamp, like this: It's dot com 05:00, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Now i'm learning about Paint Shop Pro 9 70.70.129.42 04:30, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Oh yeah thanks i'll have to look into that, but I really don't know much about that stuff, you might have to help me a bit. Again, I get confused easily. But thanks for the signiture info! Homestramy20 06:15, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Hmm... It didn't quite work. You should see a link to your user page, like this: Homestramy20. Try typing four tildes again below, and then hit "Show preview". If it works, you'll see a link. Then hit "Save page". — It's dot com
I tried it like 10000000000 times! It won't work... i'll try again Homestaramy20 05:20, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC) nope, still wont work.
Let's go to the sandbox. Click on that link and make an edit. I'll meet you there. — It's dot com 05:25, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
This is frustrating Homestaramy20 05:27, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Got it! Homestramy20 06:12, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Graphic programs
Hey, It's dot com, which of those four programs you talked about earlier are best for beginners? Homestramy20 17:32, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I would say Adobe Photoshop. It really depends on what kind of stuff you want to do. What kind of stuff do you want to do? — It's dot com 18:05, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Umm, I really want to get into the graphics, so is Adobe Photoshop for just photos or graphics? Homestramy20 18:13, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Photoshop is an extremely versatile and powerful program. It's not just for photos. Describe what you mean by "graphics", and list the kinds of projects you'd want to work on. Posters, the Web, what? — It's dot com 18:24, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- P.S. Okay, it's tip time again. When you reply, you might find it easier not to click the "edit" button at the top ↑... Instead, click the one over on the right side of the page → → next to this section. That way, you can edit this section without having to wade through everything above it.
Okay thanks. Well I just want to learn how to do like graphics and make them move (somewhat like on the Homestar website). Homestramy20 18:31, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, so you mean animation. Well, I'm not all that familiar with animation programs, but I know that H*R is built using Macromedia Flash. It too is a very powerful program. I don't know what a good starter program would be. — It's dot com 18:39, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Yes, thats what I was thinking about. Thank you for your time It's dot com. Homestramy20 18:49, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Macromedia flash is a great program. I use it all the time. I have some of the cartoons at my user page if you wanna play and have a look at them. --– Pertmywert (Talk·Edits) 22:45, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Hey, thanks! Homestramy20 07:07, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Fanstuff
Hey, Kelsey. How are ya? Did you know we have a fanstuff wiki? They've got like, I dunno, at least dozens of transcripts similar to yours. I know they would want to see yours there also. You should check it out when you get a chance. — It's dot com 01:56, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Really? Man, I didn't know that.... How do you put on your, like story? Homestramy20 02:03, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I honestly don't know. I hardly spend any time there. Joshua is an admin there. I bet he can help you. Here's his fanstuff talk page. Also, read the guidelines and whatnot, I suppose. Hope that helps! — It's dot com 02:12, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- P.S. I'm confused... who made this edit back in July?
Heh... I was new, and, uh, didn't know what the heck I was really talking about. Sorry for the confusion Homestramy20 02:15, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
