Sony is a Japanese electronics company popular in the United States since the 1970s. References to the company have shown up in the Homestar Runner universe occasionally.

- Email technology — Strong Bad gives "Walkmans" as an example of wireless technology.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 — As Tompkins dies, he yells for So and So not to let Timkins to play his PSOne, a compact version of the Sony PlayStation.
- Haunted Photo Booth — Coach Z dresses as PaRappa the Rapper.
