Kevin's camera in Weclome Back

I recently noticed that TBC commonly use the crosshair+blinking red light+"REC" to indicate that a camera is rolling. In First Time Here? and Malloween Commercial, this happens, with "REC" appearing in a unique typeface each time. Now, the font for the camera in Weclome Back is the same font as that used by Kevin's camera in Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon. Should we really say that they are the same camera? I'm beginning to think that it's just a coincidence that the font is the same; it now seems unlikely to me that TBC were thinking specifically of "Kevin's Camera" when they made the airplane scene in Weclome Back.
