Occasionally, The Brothers Chaps hide details that they don't want the viewer to see, primarily in Halloween teasers. If the Flash files are decompiled, a hidden message will be revealed in the place of where details might be expected to be.
Appearances
- Email the chair — Strong Bad's supposed picture of his parents instead reads "nice try dodongo!".
- All Halloween Teasers — The teasers feature messages hidden behind the silhouettes of the characters, visible upon attempting to view the Halloween costumes with a Flash decompiler.
- Jibblies 2 Teaser: "nice try dan"
- Most in the Graveyard Teaser: "no cigar" (derived from the phrase "close, but no cigar")
- Doomy Tales of the Macabre Teaser: "sorry charlie"; also hidden are some rejected costumes from previous years
- Halloween Safety: "hidden words"
- The House That Gave Sucky Tricks Teaser: "dislike smoke" (referencing the hidden message from the chair)
