I've made a list of appearances of toons that happened to be in my head right now to illustrate three ways we could format the list version of this template: em dash, en dash, or parentheses. I changed the actual template from an em dash to an en dash because I thought the longer dash seemed a bit much, especially in a list with other dashes. I'm now wondering if parentheses might look better than either of the dash styles. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 20:25, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

List format

I've made a list of appearances of toons that happened to be in my head right now to illustrate three ways we could format the list version of this template: em dash, en dash, or parentheses. I changed the actual template from an em dash to an en dash because I thought the longer dash seemed a bit much, especially in a list with other dashes. I'm now wondering if parentheses might look better than either of the dash styles. — It's dot com 20:25, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

I'm leaning toward parentheses myself. It looks the best and is more consistent with how stuff like @StrongBadActual tweets are listed. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 23:59, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
I've found that a colon works well when having two dashes makes it look too long.
instead of the option for Day 6 above. Or do we need anything?

I added an example with the colon, which actually doesn't look too shabby. I think it's between that or the parentheses. I think we need something, so not nothing. — It's dot com 02:37, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
