I nominate that we use the image uploaded by [[user:Slowbie]] for the image on this page.  I don't like the "FAULT!".  Anyone else agree?  [[User:Texas|Texas]] 03:18, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

How do you get big head mode? Also, many games have big head modes. It's not really a reference to one game, but to freaking tons of games. --Hagurumon

I believe that NBA Jam was the first game to use this code that became standard. But the question of how to get it remains - I don't think we ought to have a fun fact about a mode without an explanation of how to get to it. - Tim333

49.99 km?

Can someone validate this statement by providing the combinations: "There are five different special combinations that can be put together on the 'Choose it out' screen, each of which gives you a special name rather than 'Steak Styles'. One of which allows you to start the race at 49.99 km." ? JoeyDay (Talk) 13:16, 19 Jan 2005 (MST)

Yeah I wasn't sure if I should write all the details out or leave them to be found. I cheated by decompiling it so I guess I felt bad posting the details.

We need somebody to do confirmation before I remove it, since it's taking me way too long to puzzle out every single possible combination there could be. --TheNintenGenius 15:34, 19 Jan 2005 (MST)

.5k Glitch

I know you're supposed to walk off into blackness at 1K. But, when attempting to see this, there was a minor graphical glitch right after I crossed .5k (the message in the background was "These boots were mad|" [e for it], which then stopped abruptly as the crowd turned to white for a few pixels.) Is this normal? --Jay 12:18, 20 Jan 2005 (MST)

Yes. I found similar glitches at 1.38 K, 2.53 K, 3.40 K, 4.53 K... you get the idea. It's nothing, just a minor glitch. --Tim333

parody of Olympic Games (PS2)?

I disagree with that this is a parody of any PS2 game. The reference seems to be far older.

I believe this is meant to refer to The Activision Decathlon, where all of the running was done by moving the joystick left-right-left-right. The 1500 meter run was incredibly taxing; the 50k racewalker seems to be an extension of the concept. -- sensei256

I'm not entirely sure which game this is parodying, but it's definitely far, far older than any PS2 game. I've removed the fact.

hard man

Is this game impossible to win? -Kinsey

Yes. You can get to the end, but you always place third. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 20:01, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)
