[edit] Some links to help get you started

Here are some resources to help familiarize yourself with the Homestar Runner Wiki:

  • Before you do any significant editing, be sure to read our wiki standards and our other policies.
  • If you need general information, editing tips, or answers to frequently asked questions, check out the various help pages.
  • To practice editing, head over to the sandbox.
  • If you have a question that isn't addressed on a help page, you can ask it on the FAQ talk page.

To get plugged in to the community:

  • Let us know a little bit about yourself on your user page. (Please see the rules and guidelines for your user space first.)
  • If you're not sure what you can do to help out, head over to The Stick.
  • If you're looking for more community interaction, you can also register over at our forum, or if you're feeling creative, you can register separately at the fanstuff wiki.
  • If you see an update on homestarrunner.com that isn't listed on the Main Page, put it up here.
  • To sign and timestamp a post on a talk page, type four tildes (~~~~).
  • Above all, be sure to be bold and have fun!
The information above is provided as a service upon registration. Once you have checked out all the links, please feel free to delete it.

[edit] Reverting reversions

Hey there, Tailikku. I notice you've been making edits that get reverted. That alone is no big deal, it happens all the time. However, you're also reverting those reversions and not saying why. I would recommend using the "Edit Summary" option to say why you're making an edit. Furthermore, when an edit is reverted, why not look at the edit summary of the person who made the edit, or ask on the Talk page, instead of risking an edit war?

In any case, the reason that people are reverting your edit to gimmicks where you say that Strong Bad caused an explosion by knocking the Tandy off his desk? The clip of him knocking the Tandy off his desk actually comes from invisibility, not gimmicks (with an explosion added for effect.)

Don't take any of this hard; we're all new once. Happy editing in the future, --Fourth of Jay (Fireworks!) 04:40, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
