In my area, HEB, we have it so, pre-k to 6th grade are all in one building. Jr high, is 7th to 9th are in another building. And then 10 to 12 grade are in the High school building. Yes, I know, I hate it to. In fact, here is the website for my school. To see my school, go to the school websites at the top of the page. Click on it scroll down until you hit Bedford Jr high.
