[edit] "Dog" or "Daunsk"?

Since it's kind of a rap song, I've always thought they said "Dog, what's that staunch?" instead of "Daunsk! What's that stanch?" The BGG

  • I thought it was "Daunch", rhyming with "Staunch". Retromaniac

[edit] Lyrics Clarification

I think that they are trying to say in "poot slap" that somebody farted or something and that they tried to 'slap' it away. "Daunsk! What's that staunch" is probably their way of saying 'what's that smell?' Also, I think that after they are done with their, uhm, flatulence, they refuel with beans and say "round two, what's next?" I dunno, I'm just guessing. daunrealist

I originally heard "Poot Slap" as "Poop that" and "Daunsk! What's that staunch?" as "Dog! Poop that dog", as if they were trying to poop on a dog. Thank God you guys corrected me. --TROGGA! 14:31, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Deep Purple

"The song is an homage to Smoke on the Water, by Deep Purple." Uh, I don't think so. Can anyone provide any clarification for this? I've removed it from the page. -- Tom 20:48, 7 Jan 2005 (MST)

[edit] huh?

How on earth do you people know those are the actual lyrics? I mean, its not like you can really understand them... I always thought it was: "boot slap boot slap gone with that thong". But maybe (hopefully) that's just my dirty mind speaking.

It's spelled out in the third question of Homestar Quiz. -- Tom 22:22, 21 Feb 2005 (MST)

[edit] Is 3-Dee a real band?

Was this song made by a real band or is it just mike and/or matt doing it? Where does that 3-dee "picture" come from? --

Yeah, they are/were a real band. I think Matt was in it or something. The image is from the Downloads menu. Click Songs. -- Tom 00:48, 28 Feb 2005 (MST)

[edit] Poot is not a real word

1. I'm pretty sure it is. Refers for a fart or something. 2. Even if it is, so? Neither is baleeted, xy (20x6), tooty-two, ARROW'D, etc. I've removed it.

Yes, it does refer to flatulence. woddfellow2|? 16:53, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] Babelfish Dutch to English

3DEE Poot Slap Dans = Leg Slack Dance

I'm Dutch! Dutch 'poot' is pronounced different. Also, poot means paw, not leg. Kvb 17:04, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

But since when do Babelfish services provide good translations? --Jay (Talk) 17:40, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The actual use of the "poot slap" I believe is the actual percussive sound that begins the entire song (after the tempo change). It was a patch on an Alesis QS6 synthesizer and had the "log sound" and the drum sound when you released the key. The sound for whatever reason was called "Poot Slap" for what they thought was the "poot" sound and the "slap" when you released it.

[edit] Poop

Umm... doesn't the name of the secret page imply that the lyrics are actually "poop" something? The song is very low quality audio, and as far as i can tell, "Poot-Slap" is our best guess at what they're saying... Also "poop" smells bad, and makes more sense with the other lyrics... — Defender1031*Talk 21:03, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Poot

Is a wee bit more popular in Georgia than other places. It in fact does mean flatulence. Verb and Noun wise.

[edit] Voice at the end

Is that Mike? I swear it's Mike. -- 02:28, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Original from

On the thoraxcorp website, there's a hidden directory of mp3s, as is mentioned on their wiki page.

One of 'em is the unedited version of this song. Has anybody ever asked TBC what the heck these songs are? I'd really love an answer to this. Wonder if I should email them myself...— (Talk | contribs) 16:30, 6 September 2009 (UTC) (left unsigned)

Well, justing doing a quick scan, it looks like most of the songs in the main directory are other songs by 3-D. Then, there are a couple other groups, Mike Margarine and TNY, and some of their albums. I suspect those last two are friends of TBC, or self-released stuff that they like. wbwolf (t | ed) 06:11, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Lyrics for the extended version

Should the lyrics for the vulgar version on THORAX CORPORATION LLC,,.'s website be added to the page? Dagoth 12:28, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

I, too, would like some lyrics. But on another page, so we can place an "uncensored" template on it, so to not to scar our younger viewers.--Jellote wuz here 00:07, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay. Dagoth 04:59, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Matt

1. I heard in a commentary on one of the DVDs that Matt did a rap song called All-Star Rapper, which is a song by 3-Dee. Who is he in the band? NeHi, Yoo-Hoo, or Sundrop? --SBE-mail Checker Dan 21:37, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Who is this page for?

2. The page gives lyrics for Poot Slap, but it also gives info on 3-Dee. Shouldn't 3-Dee get their own page? --SBE-mail Checker Dan 21:37, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Not by 3-Dee

Only Poot Slap and 3-D Booty are by 3-Dee. The rest of those songs are by 2 Copies Sealed, another rap group with some of the same members. I'm not going to delete the 2CS songs until they have a place to go, though. Seems the Thorax mp3s have some pretty weak coverage. Haysi fantayzee 22:53, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
