No ways, man. Strong Bad does not say "so." And he says "tear," not "take." --VolatileChemical 07:02, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Agree on "So". Not on "tear", which doesn't even make sense in context. --Jay (Gobble) 07:22, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)
He definitely says "ter'," but I think it's that he's interrupted as he's saying something like "...to terrorize the neighborhood," or something similar. — It's dot com 01:36, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Could "Dead as a doornail!" be a reference to the line "Old Marley was dead as a doornail." in A Christmas Carol? That's the first thing that came to my mind.

"Dead as a doornail" is just a common phrase. Dickens was not the first to use it (found a reference to Shakespeare). Nice theory though. You could put it in stuff if you want. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 07:53, 8 Jul 2005 (UTC)
But please don't. I can accurately predict how the votes would go, and in the meantime it would just be taking up space. — It's dot com 15:44, 8 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I think that Strong Bad says "I have come back" instead of "Here I come back". Anyone else hear this? Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:02, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I don't hear that. — It's dot com 20:13, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)
But can you hear the here I come part? Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:14, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Yes. Actually, I also hear "So here I come...", but I'm leaving it alone. — It's dot com 20:30, 13 Aug
Oh. I have to get my hearing checked. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:29, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I hear "So here I come back" also. I guess it's hard to here because Homestar says "characters" at about the same time.---Strongglad
I agree with Rogue Leader. It's clearly two syllables Strong Bad's saying over Homestar's "characters". To me, it is unmistakably, "I have come back", which makes more sense. Don't people say "I have come back from the dead" all the time on TV and stuff? Who's ever heard of "So here I come back from the dead"? Especially the beginning. Why would Strong Bad say "so here I"? That makes no sense. VolatileChemical 05:40, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Halloween

I recently removed a longstanding mention of Halloween from this page. No one's dressed up for trick-or-treating or anything—they're dead. This is a graveyard. We don't include this page on any of our other Halloween lists that I could find. I also took the page out of the Halloween category for the same reason. I realize that a lot of Halloween-related things redirect the viewer to this main page, but that alone doesn't seem like enough to warrant its inclusion in the category, although I'm not totally sure that it doesn't. — It's dot com 19:44, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

I'd think that the toons linking to it connect it enough with halloween to give it pseudo-halloween status. What this honorary status would entail is open to discussion, but I'd suggest a trivia note saying so and maybe yes including it in the category, but maybe not, but i'm leaning yes. — Defender1031*Talk 22:31, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Um, Most in the Graveyard was set mostly in the KoT's graveyard and nobody was trick-or-treating or doing anything else Halloween-ish except for participating in a costume party at the KoT's castle (at least until Strong Bad got everyone out to the graveyard). So even if Main Page 7 doesn't have anything like trick-or-treating, it does fit in the spirit of Halloween though because the page is done in a campy, fun horror way as a throwback to classic campy, horror media like The Addams Family and other classic media. — Ngamer01 19:50, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
