[edit] hremails checked?

How do we know there have been "at least 50" hremails checked on the Happy? I know that the email Homestar was checking in email thunder was at least #50, but how do we know any but that one were on the Happy?

Good point, he could have checked a bunch on the Handy or the Hompy first... ;) — Defender1031*Talk 16:48, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. OptimisticFool 05:28, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Name

It seems to me that the name of the computer is the happy8600. Note the lowercase letter and lack of space. That's how TBC typed it (confirmed in the Flash file .. the font they used has uppercase letters, and they chose not to use 'em, and there is no space between "happy" and "8600"). I'd be bold, but I wanted to bring it up here before moving the page. You know. Give people some time to rebut, if there is any rebutting to be done. So, any rebuttals? =] OptimisticFool 05:28, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, but it's a logo. Creative liberties can be taken with a logo, unless you also propose we move the page to COMPY 386. I argue mostly against the decapitalisation, not the space. I like the space too, but the decap is the priority keep here. --DorianGray 05:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, created the article similar to like Wikipedia (starting out with Capital Letter)... but just in case there is an SBEmail with the same name one of these days, thats when lower case will apply (to the E-Mail, not the 'puter...) --Wi2K Talk-Favorites-173 18:32, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I see the point about the COMPY.. so, yeah, renaming it Happy8600 would make me happy8600. OptimisticFool 16:40, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Homestar deserves e-mails!

Okay, there should be a hremail page on the website. I mean really, this 'is'! Strong Bad is getting all the credit, and Homestar and Happy 8600 deserve more!

There is. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 18:13, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes I know that. I mean like Strong Bad's page for sbemails...Now I'm wondering if TBC took my request..I told them that Homestar deserves his own emails like, I dunno...many months ago? Sometime this year I did...and now I'm wondering if they took it up, but they never emailed me back I don't wonder if it's just a coincidence or if they listened to my thoughts... --Pretztailfan95 20:49, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
I don't think there is enough material on hremails to merit as page of the scope of the sbemail page. At this point I'd note that the talk page is for discussing this article and the Forum is the place for further discussion on speculations such as you pose. [edit] 68k

It may be a bit of a stretch but does anyone else see a reference to the Motorola 68000 in the name Happy 8600? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 06:02, 24 February 2009 (UTC) because they both have a 6 and an 8 as the first two digits with some number of zeros greater than 1 and less than 4 following? You're right, sounds like a huge stretch. — Defender1031*Talk 06:04, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
