[edit] Picture

Okay, so the gif as a thumb just doesn't work, it isn't resizing, and lags, and just looks all-around terrible. is their a better picture we can use? — Defender1031*Talk 00:14, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

How's about this one? The only drawback I can think of is that it's also the lead image for Dancin' Bubs... Trey56 00:20, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Ooh, this one's even better — it's got the word "DANCE" in the image and fits the caption better. Trey56 00:31, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I think we should go back to an animated image. I animated Coach Z and The Cheat as examples, but I can pretty much do any example of dancing where the background doesn't change (and, in some case, I may be able to make the background unchanging even when in the toon it does change). I know we had an animated image that didn't animate when resized... all of my animated gifs animate fine at different sizes. Is this a terrible idea? Any requests? I like it. JCM 18:57, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reorganization

Before too much work gets put into this page, I think that it could be a much better article if it were organized differently.

There are many characters who have dancing as a running gag — Bubs, Coach Z, Homestar Runner, etc. — this might be a great page to have in prose rather than in lists, with separate paragraphs for each character. Another good option would be to have separate lists for each character (and maybe a Miscellaneous section for characters for whom dancing isn't really a running gag).

Just some ideas. Trey56 00:44, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

I like the prose idea. — Defender1031*Talk 00:49, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I can do it! I will do it nine times. Homestar-Winner (talk) 01:08, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Running Gag or Recurring Theme?

Which category should this article be under? Bad Bad Guy 16:52, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Recurring Theme. -Brightstar Shiner 17:11, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Why? it's an activity... — Defender1031*Talk 18:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure there's anything running gag-like about it, though. Remember, running gags are humorous because of the repetition of related activities. I don't really see that happening here. This seems more like just a recurring theme to me. Heimstern Läufer 18:18, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
