The fast-food chain McDonald's has been referenced multiple times in the Homestar Runner body of work. The McDonaldland characters in particular have been repeatedly mentioned.

- Email current status — Coach Z's "clown feet" are compared to Ronald McDonald.
- TROGDOR! — One line that can play when Trogdor gets "Arrowed" is Strong Bad declaring "Stupid Arch Deluxe."
- 3 Times Halloween Funjob — The King of Town dresses as the Hamburglar, quoting his "robble robble" catchphrase.
- TMBG Concert - 25 Sep 2004 — Homestar Runner sings that he likes to hang out with the Fry Guys.
- Email best thing — Strong Bad claims that if not for his "The Cheat-like reflexes", the failed pilot episode of Limozeen: "but they're in space!" would be "as lost as four-armed Grimace", referencing the initial iteration of the character before he was redesigned as a two-armed friendly figure.
