This looks quite slick! Anyways, I was thinking, whether this should also have the yellowish border? :) Also, would there be a way to sort of let the wiki figure out itself what the language code is, so translators wouldn't have to go through the dull task of manually converting the toon templates' language codes, one by one. But anyways, this is just perfect, and a nice job you've done on the whole thing so far! --Sysrq868 08:19, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Funny you should mention that! People smarter than I are exploring that possibility... Trey56 08:38, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
As nothing has been done, I thought of it myself: Could it be arranged with a clever mashment of #pos, {{PAGENAME}} and some type of parserfunction? Just a thought, I'll scarcely have determination or skill to do this... --Sysrq868 12:40, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Nothing has been done? I beg to differ... I think the per-language lists are still being worked on though. That list is generated from HRWiki:Subtitles/Data, individual language lists can be generated from the same list (that way we only need to update one list every time a new toon comes out). --phlip TC 13:02, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I rather meant that nothing has been done on this page, don't expect me to find or know every page on the wiki. However, good job, and I hope the per-language lists come out soon. --Sysrq868 13:39, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Descriptions

Maybe we should add descriptions, so international viewers would find a particular toon better. --Trogga 14:32, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

That's a good idea in principle, but it would mean a lot of work for the various translators to write a description for each toon... Most of the various toon categories are summarized here, but I can see your argument for including some sort of description here. What about a very brief description of each category, right next to it? Like,
Strong Bad Email — Strong Bad answers emails from real viewers.
Hmm, not sure if that would be helpful or not. Trey56 16:02, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Listing each of the toons/toon series as an actual list sounds quite dumb. I mean, most of what you could write that way would be quite obvious, and open up for the viewers as they watch them. The descriptions at the TV Guide are barely descriptions at all, but more of a clever line to go with the toon. And even like that list, it'd be huge to hold some information value: describing just SBEmails, TGS, answering machine and puppet stuff would be redundant, as it's already there in the text. Unless we incorporate a translation of the TV Guide -type phrases for each and every single toon, this isn't going to work in my opinion. --Sysrq868 16:26, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
We could always translate HRWiki pages, but that may take even longer. --Trogga 01:16, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
