Possible Goof?

I didn't want to jump the gun, so I want to double check this before editing the article with this possible goof:

He should see a doc about that arm.

As you can see, it looks like Strong Mad's right arm looks broken. Is this ok to list under Goofs? --Ngamer01 23:22, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

I see no goof there. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 23:22, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
The arm is in an unnatural position. It's like his left arm was pasted on the right side of the body. --Ngamer01 23:25, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Try twisting your arm that way - with your forearm AND hand facing backward. Either Strong Mad is double jointed or his arm is goofed up. GenghisKhan44 97.121.71.81 23:33, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
It's not a goof though. They're imitating the animation from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. — It's dot com 03:04, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm aware of the imitation. I'm pretty sure the original Abominable Snowman never appeared to have a broken arm when flailing around though. But I won't press further on the matter. --Ngamer01 19:24, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

If you hate Homsar so much...

Is it reasonable to assume that Homsar's absence is a callback to his scene in Decemberween Mackerel? I might could add it as an inside reference. NMRodo 03:09, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Strictly speaking, Homsar is, by default, absent from all costume displays at the end of Halloween cartoons, too; you have to click an Easter egg to make him show up. In this case, of course, we lack any chance to do so. Perhaps more importantly, H*R doesn't really have a lot of continuity, particularly as it comes to death and Homsar (he's died twice already). For these reasons, I'm not really convinced his absence is related to his near-death in Decemberween Mackerel. Heimstern Läufer 03:15, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I thought the same thing as NMRodo, but it's a little too much speculation for my taste to include in the fun facts. — It's dot com 03:16, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I honestly thought clicking The Poopsmith would bring up Homsar... somehow, for lack of a better Easter egg spot. As far as continuity goes, I viewed it as a joke that came up in one Toon, was referenced in a soon-after Toon, then never mentioned again (in the same way of Homsar being crushed by the Heavy Lourde in "homsar", then mentioning being in the hospital in an Answering Machine). But it is rather speculative. Better left unsaid, I suppose. NMRodo 03:24, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Hollow Snow-globe Pom-Pom?

Is it notable that the smaller Pom-Pom in the real Pom-Pom's snow globe costume seems to be empty? --Mooman72v2 03:18, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I think it should be mentioned on the costumes page in the description of his costume, but we don't need more than that. (I was secretly hoping it would be the scene within the scene within the scene...) — It's dot com 03:22, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
There turned out to be another fun fact this could piggyback onto, so I went ahead and mentioned it in the article. — It's dot com 14:08, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Audio quality and screen size

Now that more people have access to better Internet bandwidth and larger monitors, the Chaps may have made a permanent switch to better audio quality and the double-size stage, beginning with the toon right before this one. If so, they shouldn't be mentioned in this toon, because they're not firsts. (Only time will tell; I just wanted to go ahead and bring it up.) — It's dot com 03:19, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

More like "only more 'toons will tell." I agree with your comment, however, since there's only two instances of the higher-quality audio and screen size thing right now, I would think it's notable. In my opinion, if it turns out to be a true switchover, we can go back and remove it later. That's the great thing about wikis. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 03:23, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Indeed. I mentioned it now so we'd be reminded, in case there's another lengthy break before the next toon (I hope not!). — It's dot com 14:11, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Lines from A Christmas Story

Is it worth mentioning that the lines that Strong Bad has when you click on Strong Sad are what Ralphie's dad says to him when he appears in that costume in the movie? --174.91.174.204 18:46, 23 December 2010 (UTC)Poopaw

Wait really? Well, if that's true, I'd say it's definitely a notable fun fact. NMRodo 21:11, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Where is the back button?

For some reason. I can't find the back button. If you find it, please tell me. ~ weirdalinstrongbadia 12/23/10

Umm... even using the Tab key doesn't show anything. I'm about to jot that down as a fun fact. -- ■■   PURPLE  WRENCH   ■■ 01:13, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
