I know Appearances is the standard for these articles, but wouldn't Occurances be more applicable? I R F 22:43, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I think we had a similar occurance of that problem in another article the other week, and we decided to go with "occurance" rather than "appearance". Loafing 23:31, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I too agree that Occurrences (the correct spelling) is more apt in these situations. It already appears as a heading on What are you supposed to be? and References To Icons (Halloween Costumes).
