Is Marzipan's Kitchen actually Homestar's?

It's been generaly accepted that the kitchen in question belong's to Marzipan, but there is actually only one piece of evidence to support this and it isn't rock-solid; In "Wher's The Cheat?", Homestar makes a veggie-burger in the kitchen, then deliver's it to Marzipan in her living room in the next scene. While this certainly makes it seem like the kitchen is right next to the living room, it is also a possibility that we simply didn't see Homestar walking over to her house from his.

Other facts that indicate that the kitchen is Homestar's:

• Marzipan is never, ever seen in the kitchen, but Homestar is in every appearance.
• Homestar acts as if the kitchen were his own.
• Mrs. Bennedetto and Fluffy Puff Mayonaise are items in the kitchen that more than likely would belong to Homestar.

Wasn't Marzipan seen in the kitchen in radio? Besides, Homestar is KNOWN for wandering into people's houses uninvited, and it seems awfully silly (even for Homestar) to wander across town carrying a veggie-burger on a plate. --Jay (Talk) 02:03, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Okay, here's something... In the Toon "Cool Things", Marzipan's front porch looks exactly like Homestar's. So forget the whole kitchen thing; the new question is do Homestar and Marzipan live together (A common occurrance in boyfriend-girlfriend relationships)? Or are their houses just the same (A common occurrance in urban planning)?

I'm too insecure to make these changes myself, but: 1) Isn't "portrait" perhaps not the best word for the "Thank you" thing? I mean, technically a portrait can be a non-representative work of art, but most people think of it as a representation of a person. 2) The assertion that this artwork was "theoretically produced by Homsar" is unsupported by any link or reference. Is this one person's speculation, or a reference to a fact divulged somewhere (in which case it should be explained and linked)? 3) In what sense does Marzipan's house appear in the email labor day?

To answer your questions: 1. Portrait IS perhaps not the best word, but it works 2. Homsar used the line 'thank you' on his Main Page 3. In the Shenectedy Chrispies Easter egg, Strong Bad delivers a commercial in the kitchen of Marzipan's house. --DorianGray

Just because he says "Thank You" doesn't mean he made the "portrait," now does it? There are plenty of other instances in which other characters say "Thank You," I'm sure. —Gafaddict (Talk | Contribs.) 19:20, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

We finally see her in her kitchen during narrator. Also, should something be mentioned that she doesn't lock her door(s) very well? As evidenced by the Marzipan Answering Machine 13.2, Homestar, The Cheat, and the KoT can get in while she's away. It's possible that Homestar has a key or knows where she keeps her hidden spare key and left it unlocked once he got in. However, The Cheat and the KoT are surprized to find each other at the end which would lead us to believe that they came in different ways.  I don't think Homestar and Marzipan live together. Here's why:

1. In Homestar Presents: Presents, it seems as though Marzipan has been celebrating Decemberween long before Homestar woke up.
2. In 3 Times Halloween Funjob, Homestar bangs on the door to be let in to the party. If he lived here this would most likely not have happened.
3. Homestar keeps leaving messages on her answering machine
4. Her answering machine only says that she lives there

It's further unlikely because they have two different living rooms. Homestar's has a wood floor and green walls; Marzipan's has a red rug and blue/yellow walls. - Qermaq - (^T/C)  17:31, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

"This painting was theoretically shown as a parody of Readymade art [...]"
When are we ever, ever, ever given any indication that the Thank You painting is a parody of readymades? It's just a thing hanging on the wall. I mean, one could say that Homestar's whiteness is a parody of mimes...but it's probably not. I'm guessing that the "theoretically" was added in to make it more ambiguous, but the phrase sounds incredibly out of place no matter what. I'm going to be bold and remove it; if anybody's got an Everything Else commentary that proves this, I'll hush, but it still needs to be reworded and put in a less awkward position in the article. --Onamuji (b/w T. C.  ) 07:41, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
