Cleanup popups
There seems to be a couple issues with this page right now. First, there seems to be a couple different ways to document the text of the pop up; a straight text rendering and one that tries to mimic the layout of the pop-up. Also there's the question whether direct links to the pop-ups should be added here as well as Site Components. There's also just simple consistency issues with the page as well. wbwolf (t | ed) 06:17, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- I think each pop-up should be mimicked as far as plain text can go (colored text and backgrounds are fine as long as they're readable), supplemented by a screenshot of the pop-up itself. Whenever possible, we should also link directly to the SWF on the official site. I don't have a strong opinion on whether the line breaks should match exactly, but I suppose I lean towards yes. — It's dot com 06:22, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
anniversary live show!
Does it count? It doesn't really pop up, but it is a main page message that takes you to a Main Page Pop-Up-like page. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:24, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- It's still just a separate page and it's only a main page message so I don't think it counts. - Catjaz63 01:46, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
"Incomplete list" tag rationale?
I'm not sure why this article is tagged as a Template:incomplete list. It looks like it originally had the "stub" tag to indicate that not all posts were documented or transcribed... then it just stuck around even after everything was typed up, eventually getting swapped to "incomplete list".
If the issue is unknown release date(s) or missing pop-ups before baby/after Trogday, then surely Template:missinginfo would be a better fit? But I don't see any indication that we are outright missing any pop-ups, this page was started when this feature was still active. To me, the "stub" indicated that there were no fun facts or other elements to the page (though, whether it needs them is arguable). So what's up with the tagging here? -- Bleu Ninja 17:22, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
