When did they publish that article that mentioned Trogdor?  I used to read Muse frequently when I was younger. [[User:Bad Bad Guy|Bad Bad Guy]] 20:09, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Homestar Runner was featured in a sidebar in a recent issue as "maybe returning soon". I could probably scrounge up a screenshot if needed, but I figured it'd already be mentioned somewhere on the wiki. This is the best page for it, I would think. Although, I kind of remember a "Media" page or something like that. Opinions?

In the December 2003 issue of SPIN, there is an article on Homestar Runner on page 62 with a screenshot of [[The Best Decemberween Ever]] in it. For the love of Mike, someone in a Tshirt is not a notable sighting. Nor are words that end in 'D - Dr Haggis - Talk 02:21, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

That Sighting is hilarious. Not because it's a good sighting, but because I just talked to Amanda Seybold five minutes ago and I just now read that sighting. Aurora the Homestar Coder 02:26, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proper Usage of "namely"

... featured a picture of Homestar from Where's The Cheat?, and said he was part of a funny cartoon website, namely homestarrunner.com.

That's from the Time Magazine sighting. I'm not entirely sure about the usage of the word "namely," but it seems to me that it should be omitted in the above sentence. But I might be wrong. So somebody with a more thorough understanding of the grammatical whims of this language should fix it, if indeed it needs fixing. -Polly 15:29, 4 Aug 2005 (UTC)

That whole section could use a rewrite. Go for it. -- Tom 15:37, 4 Aug 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Game Informer

There are three entries for "Game Informer," and they have said "review" for several months now. Every now and then, someone will change it to "preview." Since they're so old, I have changed it back—at least for now. Does anyone have any specific information (and can cite their sources) on these? — It's dot com 01:29, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Here's a picture of the review of Baten Kaitos in the 12/2004 issue of Game Informer

It may be hard to read, but here are the captions from top to bottom:

"Each character has unique wings and a specialized weapon" "During enemy turns, you need to play your defensive magna" "The varsity cheerleading squad fails to form a passable 'Z'"

There's no caption in this review that says "Ya gotta have blue hair." Sadly, I could not locate the issue that held the preview of Baten Kaitos.

[edit] Star

In Star magazine, it said "It's OVER!", like from Teen Girl Squad. The main article was to famous people breaking up. Should this be counted? --Anony

I think it's such a common phrase, no. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:45, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Higher Things

In the most recent issue of the Higher Things magazine, in the article by Kathy Luder, it says at the end she enjoys Strongbad (sic) emails. I guessed that you guys would want to know.

[edit] Focus on Your Child

In the April/May 2006 issue of the Tween Ages Focus on Your Child magazine type thing from Focus on the Family, there's a review mostly the same as the PluggedIn review. Eh, I'll just type it out.

(The exceptions are "Teen Girl Squad" 'toons, which have some unfortunate mean-girl leanings, and mild profanity in other spots.)"
