I'm huge!

From the Late Nite JengaJam Interview - 4 Oct 2007:

MATT: That's something that I feel like I learned from Mystery Science Theater, I felt like they were always dropping... either references to a joke they had already made that was totally exclusive to the show or making some weird reference to a commercial from the late '70s or something, that... they knew that only about 10 people were gonna get, but they made that joke anyway, so it was just sort of like... "This is for you 10 dudes that're gonna like this joke."

Mystery Science Theater 3000 was a cult TV show that ran from 1988 to 1999 on Minnesota Station KTMA-TV (Now WUCW), Comedy Central (formerly The Comedy Channel) and the Sci-Fi Channel (now Syfy). The main premise of the show is a janitor by the name of Joel Robinson is trapped in space on the "Satellite of Love" by an evil scientist named Dr. Forrester and is shown the "worst [movies] [they] can find." To keep sane, he builds four robot companions to help him make fun of the movies, namely Cambot, Gypsy, Tom Servo, and Crow. Eventually, Joel escapes the Satellite and is replaced with Mike Nelson. The show has proven to be influential, and The Brothers Chaps occasionally reference the show and the movies it has featured. In 2015, a revival season was successfully crowdfunded and premiered on Netflix in April 2017.
