Homestar Runner shows more respect for The King of Town than most of the other characters do, but they do sometimes conflict with each other.

Homestar Runner and the King of Town Getting Along/Working Together

• The King of Town DVD — Homestar and Pom Pom help the King find his sheep.
• Where's The Cheat? — Homestar asks the King if he wants to eat the Homestar Jr.
• Email labor day — Homestar invites the King to his Labor Day party.
• Email local news — Homestar and the King wait in line together at Bubs' Concession Stand, and Homestar tells the King that it was the best five bucks he ever spent.
• Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — Homestar and Pom Pom help the King find The Poopsmith.
• Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True — When Homestar comes to, the King asks him if he's okay.
• Bug In Mouth Disease — Homestar asks the King for help in getting a bug out of his mouth.
• Halloween Potion-Ma-Jig — Homestar asks the King for the powder for his potion.
• Email secret identity — Homestar and the King hold a mayonnaise party in the House of the Brothers Strong without Strong Bad's consent.
• Email 4 branches — Homestar apparently used the King as his test subject for "Drab to Fab with Nothing but Mustard".
• Ever and More — Homestar chooses the King for demonstrating the secret handshake of the Broternal Order of Different Helmets.
• Jibblies 2, Which Ween Costumes?, and Mr. Poofers Must Die — Homestar compliments the King's costume.
• Email winter pool — The King saves Homestar, Strong Bad, and the Poopsmith from the gelatinised swimming pool.
• Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Homestar, as Uzi Bazooka, steals the launch codes to a rocket, claiming that he intends to give them to the King's villain character, Perducci. Eariler in the film, Perducci refused to hand over some plans to Uzi's lair unless he lost at a rigged card game.

Homestar Runner and the King of Town in Conflict

• The King of Town DVD — When Homestar realizes that the King ate his sheep, he embarrasses the government official, all the while poking him.
• A Decemberween Pageant — The King is upset that Homestar was cast as the King in the play instead of him.
• Bug In Mouth Disease — Homestar eats the King's ice cream, believing it will freeze the bug out of his mouth. The King protests, claiming the ice cream to be his prescription.
• Halloween Potion-Ma-Jig — The King refuses to give Homestar the powdered herbs and spices, prompting Homestar to snatch them.
• Email more armies — Homestar and the King are the leaders of competing armies.
• Homestar Ruiner — The King is horrified and insulted by Homestar "exposing his giblets" to a government official. He issues an arrest warrant for Homestar, concealing the negatives of the latter's photo in the castle's Hall of Records for further study. However, because Strong Bad has stolen every single record, the King can't remember any crimes being committed whatsoever, enabling Homestar to walk out a free man.
• Strong Badia the Free — When the King places Strong Bad under house arrest, Homestar joins Marzipan's protest against the King. Also, in Maps and Minions, Homestar tries to stop the King from getting back to his castle and will go after him if he is visible.
• I Killed Pom Pom — The King of Town frames Homestar for eating the Poopsmith's whatsit pile.

• Email pet show — Homestar and the King are competitors in the Cat Mess Inbredtational Pet Show.
• Donut Unto Others — The King wants to buy doughnuts from either Bubs or Homestar. At the King's request, Homestar gives him "marketing bombardment".
• The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — The King corrects Homestar when he calls Michael Jackson the Prince of Pop.
• Mr. Poofers Must Die — Homestar predicts that the King will mention food when he describes the Poopsmith's costume.
