Fake YouTube End Screens

Some of the YouTube versions of Homestar Runner toons parody the Related Video Thumbnails commonly found in popular videos. Nine fake thumbnails for other videos appear at the official end of the toon, in order to give the effect that the video has ended, after which the Easter eggs are displayed automatically. None of the "videos" shown in the thumbnails have been released as of yet.

The thumbnails were introduced in the YouTube version of Fish Eye Lens. The contents of the thumbnails are as follows:

Halloween Safety

"Don't look for these, too."

Some of the thumbnails are similar to the ones seen in Fish Eye Lens, while others are new.

• Marzipan's eyes in the middle-right thumbnail blink once.
• The upper-right thumbnail takes place in the basement, but The Couch is missing.

"Are you sure this is gluten-free?"

All but one of the thumbnails have been reused from the previous toons.

• In the upper-left hand corner, the thumbnail of Marzipan and Pom Pom from Halloween Safety now displays Marzipan with The Cheat in her throat.
  • Again, Marzipan's eyes blink once.
  • She has two mouths, one in the correct position and one where The Cheat's eyes should be. Both are frowning.
  • Her hair is now misaligned from her head.

Flash is Dead!

"The death of Flash is equivalent to a giant meteor heading straight for the Earth!"

None of the thumbnails in this toon have appeared before, although two of them are very similar to some thumbnails from other toons.

• Homestar being beheaded is a reference to the Quickening, a phenomenon which occurs in the Highlander universe.
