Or it could've been a reference to one of the other names that TBC were thinking of for him, according to an earlier version of this page.

1-Up is Homestar Runner's 20X6 counterpart. Everybody says Stinkoman's the guy, but 1-Up wants to be the guy, too. Unfortunately, he's just a kid. Maybe when he's older...
