| Marzipan | Penny | Penny is a claymation character created by Craig Bartlett (creator of Hey Arnold!) and animated by Aardman Productions. She was originally created as shorts for Pee-wee's Playhouse after Bartlett moved to Los Angeles in 1987. The premise of the shorts is that Penny will discuss various topics and express certain interests, while the animation would show literal depictions of the things she talks about. One of Penny's traits is that her eyes are made of two copper penny coins, hence the name. She also appeared on a anti-drug PSA on ABC. | Wikipedia article |
