Higher Frames Per Second

Most animations on homestarrunner.com run at 12 frames per second (fps). However, some animations run at a higher frame rate for various reasons.

Appearances

Kick The Cheat
strongbad_email.exe and Everything Else — The FBI warnings at the beginning of the DVDs (except for strongbad_email.exe Disc Five) have a smoother frame rate due to the constantly shifting colors.
Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 — Done to enhance the appearance of a three-dimensional sequence.
500 The Cheats — To fit 500 drawings of The Cheat in the thirty-second short.
Punkin Stencils (2007 update) — In order for the conveyor belt to move smoothly.
SBCG4AP Advertisement — Due to the use of a 24fps embedded video, the animated portion was done at 24fps.
Main Page 25 — Done to make the puppets move more life-like.
Dangeresque: Puppet Squad — The original Flash pop-up caused audio and video synchronization issues on the Main Pages and TV Time Toons Menu.
Strong Bad Classics! — Although it appears 12fps, the page turns are 24fps.
