In English, most words ending with "-ant" have the "a" take a schwa sound. However, in Homestar Runner cartoons, the "a" is sometimes emphasized.

  • Email extra plug — Strong Bad pronounces the name of email sender Justin Corcoran as "cor-cor-án", when it should be more like "core-crin".
  • Trogdor Was Dragon Man — Strong Sad says of Trogdor, "Strong Bad created him in the early two thous-ands."
