Sometimes in the Homestar Runner body of work, a character uses a noun and a verb together in quick succession; in text format, the words are usually connected together with a hyphen.

- Email secret recipes — Coach Z takes Strong Bad's offer for free ice cream because he can't afford the money-cost variety.
- Email business trip — When Homestar Runner trades The King of Town two cans of Pork b/w Beans, a confused Strong Bad exclaims, "What the sense-make?"
- Email environment — Strong Bad twice attempts to tell the senders of the email what his boat-take does, but is cut off at both occasions.
- SBCG4AP Dev Blog — In the June 4th, 2008 entry, Strong Bad thinks that video games would be marketed better if they had "GRAPHICS-HAVE" printed on the box.
- Email your edge — Strong Bad and The Cheat surround themselves with an "arsenal of edge-haver-y."
- Strong Badia the Free — After taking over the King of Town's castle, Strong Bad tells Strong Sad to "stop with all the food-make!"
- Coach Z's 110% — The instructional video is free with "proof of VCR-have."
- Email imaginary — Strong Bad says that his brothers are galactically incapable of friend-have.
- Coach Z pukes in dude's toupee — The description for the video states that Coach Z pukemakes most moistly.
- Poker Night at the Inventory — Strong Bad mentions "the Inverse Property of Luck-Have".
- @StrongBadActual — Strong Bad refers to Fan Costumes 2016 as "Fan Costume Fun-Of Make 2016".
- Squintmojis — A disclaimer during Homestar's mumbled account reads "Actual Talk-Say"
