The Deciders?

I heard "the signers" — Defender1031*Talk 15:02, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

You are right. --Sysrq868 15:03, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Soolnds

"Dr. Soft-Soolnd's Tan Medical Shoes" is a reference to Strong Sad's Soolnds. This should be mentioned under "Inside Jokes". --Anon — 72.1.206.12 (Talk | contribs) 15:24, 3 December 2007 (UTC) (left unsigned)

I added a link in the transcript. I think this should be enough... Trey56 15:29, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Simpsons??

The remark regarding the Simpsons episode seems like a stretch at best. I figured I'd open that for discussion before charging in there and deleting it. Gerta 15:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Coach Z easter egg

What does this have anything to do with the email? Is there a connection that i'm missing? — Defender1031*Talk 16:30, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Good question. I also feel that, although the cheating line is obvious, the reason why The Cheat is holding the Lappy is going over my head. --Jay (Gobble) 17:03, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, wait, I get part of the Coach Z scene. The KoT book is supposedly written by "Ronmartin Realdude", the same person Coach Z is allegedly talking to. --Jay (Gobble) 17:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay, but why would coach z be talking to a fake author about a fake relationship on a fake cell phone? — Defender1031*Talk 19:13, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
I think the reason the Cheat is holding the Lappy is because we're assuming he helped Strong Bad with all the internet site stuff for the fake book, since SB isn't exactly advanced to internet level. -Cyndentia
We're heading into forum speculation but here's what I think: The Cheat's walking off with the Lappy because he's going to design, program and create the book website for Strong Bad's diorama project. As we all know, Strong Bad's lazy and always gets his lackey to do all his work. It would explain why The Cheat makes "agreeing The Cheat noises" when Strong Bad says "It's gotten so hard to cheat these days!" because he's got to make the website. And The Cheat is the one most skilled with technology. Then again, why would he use the Lappy instead of the Tangerine Dreams or Monosodium Dreams? Hmmm. Oh, and Coach Z's irrelevant scene is just there to make you laugh. – The Chort 19:35, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it was in reference to the SedBed's comments that "Cheating is getting harder." I'm pretty sure Teh C is simply absconding with the Lappy, and showing the ease of actual cheating. Flashfight 21:13, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
At this point this topic is getting into the realm of speculation, and i would really suggest that we stop now and move it to the forum. — Defender1031*Talk 21:58, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

KoT skin color

was this the first time we could see the King's skin? if so, can someone put this in the article? -Raltaran

Not a Cat

When Strong Bad is talking about the website that Molly would have to make for a fake book, the author blurb mentions that he is "NOT a cat!!" This is the classic line of Evil the Cat from Earthworm Jim, when he's in disguise. Should this be a reference?--Gaeamil 19:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. --72.226.234.136 23:25, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Intro

  • Strong Bad's tone of voice at the beginning of the email could be a reference to the video game Portal, in which the antagonist GLaDOS often mentions cake.

This fact was quickly removed, but it raises a good question (one that i didn't know how to raise in a non-forummy way until now) and that is, what the heck is with the intro? IS it a reference to something? — Defender1031*Talk 22:19, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Oh, so a little computer that is near death and lonely gets made fun of and makes people GLaD and makes them laugh just for eating cake? that is not right. and yes i have the game. and beaten the game. and played the commentary, for the game.GLaDoS's helper User:Imdaman

Image

I think we should have the image be of another diorama example, like James Buchanan must die.-Me

99.99.99

Ya know, this is probably far fetched, but $99.99.99 was the most well-known phrase of Mike the TV from the TV Show ReBoot. (The price of the 'Bucket o' Nothing' he was always advertising.) 68.228.89.148 22:33, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
