Sega Tapes
From Homestar Runner Wiki
Sega Tapes are the cartridges used by the Sega Genesis game system, launched in 1989 by Sega during the 16-bit video game era. They have also made appearances in the Homestar Runner universe."Tape" is a somewhat common misnomer for cartridge, referring to the Sega Genesis' cartridge's resemblance to cassette tapes. But, the cartridges for the Sega Genesis used semiconductor-based ROM chips for data storage, not spools of magnetic tape, so they are not actually tapes.
