The name "Double Deuce" may be a reference to the film Road House. In the movie, Patrick Swayze stars as the head bouncer at the "Double Deuce Club".

  • This is speculation at best. It's just a name.

Additional comments:

  • A google search for "double deuce" brings up a myriad of things (the third link it lists goes to The Bird sbemail). There are too many possible sources to put a specific reference on.
  • A "deuce" is a "severe reprimand or expression of anger: got the deuce for being late."
