Characters in the Homestar Runner Universe occasionally celebrate special occasions with confetti, which is usually thrown from or falls from Hammerspace. Notably, the same confetti is used in every appearance, with a distinct color scheme of navy blue, red, white, yellow, and cyan, and the same falling animation.
Appearances
- Senorial Day— Homestar Runner and Mustachioed Homestar throw the confetti to promote the Bubsotathon.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig— Homsar as Tingle throws the confetti.
- Flashforward— The Confetti appears from the sides of the screen to celebrate the 2006 Flashback Show.
- Email pizza joint — Balloons and the confetti come out of The Cheat's pizza joint, CHEATSA PIZZA (the King of Town's grill).
- Email slumber party — Clearing a round in Clapping Party makes a pixelized variant of the confetti appear on the screen.
- Email pet show — Strong Bad jumps into a pile of potatoes while the confetti rains down from above to gloss over the fact that Saberlord's Scritchascratch Cakemonger The Cheat lost the pet show.
- Where U Goin 2? — The Confetti appears from the sides of the Scoreboard as The Cheat does flaming lay-up drills.
- Compy Catalog — The Confetti falls during Strong Sad's scene where he's "the happiest [he's] ever been".
- Email videography — Acting like he's celebrating in a promo for "Videographer" Strong Bad, Homestar Runner dances and throws the confetti saying "Oh, twice! I'm a lavish gift-giver!"
- April Fool 2014 — After introducing himself as "what you might call Homestar Runner", Homestar throws the confetti and says "Yaaaay!!" out of the side of his mouth.
- Fish Eye Lens — The Confetti falls on the dancing bathroom figures.
