:::It wasn't released alongside the weenvent entry—it was released ''in'' the weenvent entry. That's a meaningful distinction. We'd essentially be saying that the 23rd weenvent entry was released on the 22nd. Now I admit that technically it was, barely (in a specific time zone; in most of the world and in UTC, it was already the 23rd), but the only reason it was a few minutes early was so that it would definitely be in place for the intended release date. The issue we should be addressing is whether the reader would be served better by the strict Eastern Time Zone date or one that's been rounded up by a few minutes. I think it's less confusing to have the listed release date and the weenvent entry day match, especially since it's what they meant to do. — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 16:20, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Date listing

Ok, so there's some conflict over what to put as the date for this game. The game released on Thursday the 22 at around 11:00PM est, but it was included within the Decemberweenvent Calendar day 23 update. I say that it should be listed as the 22 on since that's the real release date even if barely. There have been plenty of instances with toons releasing at 11 and they've always been listed as the true release. TheOneAndOnlyDanky 06:02, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

A handful of the Decemberweenvent Calendars have been released slightly before midnight, but that's just a footnote. They've all been released for the calendar day they correspond with. (On the calendar article, if we listed each day's relase date individually, we wouldn't say that days 13 and 14 were both released on the 13th when in the former case the page was updated six minutes after midnight and in the latter case the page was updated six minutes before the following midnight. Surely that's too nitpicky even for us.) Although this game technically was available a few minutes early by our usual convention (although not before 11:20 ET on the official site), it wasn't early enough that the release date should be split from the calendar date, specifically because it's a calendar. The two values should be parallel in the article. — It's dot com 06:28, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
This is a tricky item given how close it was released to the 23rd. Although I understand that the game was released alongside the weenvent entry for the 23rd, had the game been released by itself it would've been logged for the 22nd. Given how much we strive for accuracy, I would suggest that the game itself be marked for release on the 22nd (treating it as somewhat of a separate item) and make note that it was released early for the item on the 23rd. Alternatively, since the banyard idea came from the calendar itself, if we stick to it being released on the 23rd, it should be noted that the actual release was late on the 22nd due to the occasional early releases of the calendar entries. --Stux 15:55, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
It wasn't released alongside the weenvent entry—it was released in the weenvent entry. — It's dot com 16:20, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
Technically it was released alongside the calendar entry, the calendar entry just linked to it. It's on the videlectrix itch.io page accessible without the calendar. Also the calendar entries never explicitly have a date listed, it's implied, but never the actual release date. Release dates have always corresponded to when they were released in est, so I feel it should stay that way. We shouldn't really try to assume the intentions of TBC, even if they seem obvious it's better to just list the facts as they are presented. I really don't think it would be confusing, since it was listed to be in the day 23 entry, but release on the 22. TheOneAndOnlyDanky 16:37, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
Just to clarify, when I say it was released in the calendar, I mean that there was no other public way to know about the existence of the game other than the calendar. There was no separate announcement on the official site, and they didn't tweet about it until a little over an hour ago. — It's dot com 16:43, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Does not work

I can't get it to run and I have my ad blockers disabled and a Flash emulator running. Wolf O'Donnel 07:12, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Ok, I can get it to run on Edge, but it only gets to the title and theme song before I can't do anything else. I normally use Chrome. Wolf O'Donnel 07:18, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

I had the same trouble but now it's working if I press "z" to start. I'm not sure if a game bug got fixed or if "z" would have worked all along. I was clicking the mouse, pressing space, doing all sorts of things. 135.180.110.139 14:42, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
