In English, most words ending with "-ant" have the "a" take a schwa sound. However, in Homestar Runner cartoons, the "a" is sometimes emphasized.

- Bug in Mouth Disease (DVD commentary) — Matt Chapman, trying to remember a misspelled word on one of Bubs's business cards, says "consult-ant".
- Email space program — Strong Bad, as Space Captainface, refers to Homestar Runner (who is trying to put on a sweater) as a "space myoot-ant".
- Fan Costumes 2018 — In response to a fan re-creating the aforementioned scene, Strong Bad points out the "space myoot-ant".
