(Third quarter projection analysis: I typed all this out to find someone in the YT comment section had done nearly the same thing. At least I took the initiative and created a dozen bulky tables.)

Third quarter projection analysis

T: Trogdor
K: Knight
H: Troghammer
A: Archer

P: Peasant
C: Cottage
C: Burninated cottage

So I actually went ahead and played out how the game would have gone if the Troghammer had repaired the cottage when it was supposed to. Fortunately it doesn't actually butterfly effect out too much. Here are my third quarter projection analysis spreadsheets:

Peasant is still alive and the tile to its south is unburninated, so the game is not complete.

But wait! If Homestar had used Tunnel Warp for his last turn and had five AP, he could have...

  1. burninated the tile
  2. moved east and taken a point of damage
  3. burninated the tile
  4. moved north
  5. chomped the peasant

thereby winning with zero remaining health. Alternatively, using Smell the Daisies, he could burninated the peasant and hoped it would take out the tile below. At any rate, it doesn't seem like the extra peasant would have rooned them. Of course, who knows if it would have played out the same way had they known there was another peasant on the board, but that's a little deeper into causality than I care to go.

I just wanted to get all that information down on the talk page. I'll try to work out a way to put it succinctly in the remarks so that it doesn't take up several pages. Lira (talk) 22:46, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
