Monty Python is a British '70s comedy troupe best remembered for their TV show Monty Python's Flying Circus and for movies such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian. The Brothers Chaps pay tribute to these legends by referencing them in the Homestar Runner body of work.

- Thy Dungeonman 3 — Just before you begin answering the hag's questions, she says "If ye answers questions three..." This is a reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in which the old man at the Bridge of Death proclaims "Who would cross the Bridge of Death must answer me these questions three, ere the other side he see".
- Strong Badia the Free — Strong Bad refers to a fish skeleton as an "ex-fish", referencing the line in the Dead Parrot sketch, "This is an ex-parrot". Elsewhere, if you attempt to cross a vacant Stone Bridge, Strong Mad will tell you "NONE SHALL PASS", in much the same way as the Black Knight tells Arthur from Holy Grail.
- 8-Bit is Enough — Strong Bad's remark about the peasants starting a commune is a reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, specifically the scene in which Dennis explains that he and his fellow peasants are an anarcho-syndicalist commune.
