Finding Homestar Runner
In the summer of 2003, I went to a camp during the day. One day, a group of kids that included me, were talking about cool stuff on the Internet. Most of the websites mentioned were for games. Eventually, homestarrunner.com was mentioned by one girl. She never said anything specifically, and told us to see what there was when we went there. I wrote down the web address, and put it in my lunchbox. This was in mid August. When I cleaned out my luchbox at the end of September a little while after camp ended, I found the piece of paper and put on the computer desk. About a week went by before I actually went to the website. I saw how many Strong Bad Emails there were and thought that I'd probably never se everything on the site! A few weeks went by, and I had seen all the toons, shorts, Answering Machines, Teen Girl Squad Issues and about 3/4 of the Strong Bad Emails and played all of the games at least once. I soon found that the website was updated every week and began to go on almost everyday. I still do. (I have been going to the "wedsite" since e-mail 87: mile).
Finding the Wiki
Shortly after I found Homestar Runner (probably about the spring of 2004), I found a site for Strong Bad Email Secrets but I looked quickly over it and never bookmarked it. A little while later I searched Google for "Strong Bad Email Easter Eggs" and an article on a Strong Bad email from the Homestar Runner Wikipedia came up. I instantly bookmarked it and I continue to use it.
The Future...!
Some day I hope to become something, important like a post-op or a Democrat and... maybe one day... I'll find out... (tear) what love truly is! Ahem! Anyway, I will attempt to attempt (yeah, attempt to attempt) to work like a zombie... for the Homestarmy!
