Anything you post on the wiki is fair game for anyone. You may request that others remove your images if they don't have your permission, but you cannot demand it. — It's dot com 22:32, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

But I don't want people using that image. Can you ask the admins to have that pic deleted?
Unfortunately, I cannot. Under the Creative Commons Deed, you released that picture to the wiki when you uploaded it. — It's dot com 22:40, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)
I didn't see a link to that when I joined. I didn't.
Click edit on any page. It is in the fine print at the bottom. — It's dot com 22:45, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I think if you explain yourself to them nicely (as opposed to simply changing another user's page), then they, out of respect, might (and I stress might) observe your wishes. Nobody wants to make anyone mad around here, so if you emphasize how important it is to you, they'll probably come around. — It's dot com 22:49, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Well, at least leave the message I left them all in their user talk

Can You make the Thumbnail bigger without changing the size of the pic?

Get it off, get it off, get it off...
Sure, just change the width. I changed it in the image at the right to 200 pixels wide. — It's dot com 22:57, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)
P.S. It's okay to reply here to comments from others. They will typically keep an eye on your page until you respond, especially if you're both online at the same time. — It's dot com

But can you keep the image 100*100?

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you want it to be 100px wide, then just change it in the code. By the way, I notice that you "stole" the black border and colored bar at the top for your user page, of which I was the first to have on this wiki. ;) — It's dot com 23:17, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Just using it for basic design. I am trying to get this one Dashed pattern that I use alot. It's just that these wiki codes are really confusing.

I don't mind. I myself took the basic design from a page I saw on another wiki. Hardly anything is truly original around here. Here's a handy tip: when you post on a talk page, sign your name using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. Typing that will automatically insert your name plus the date and time, like this: It's dot com 23:35, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

No one's original eh? <img>arrowd1ql.png</img> Now if I could just get that in place of the ugly red box. Arrow'd 23:37, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Creative Commons Deed

In regards to your animated GIF, Image:getittoffavy.gif, which you released to the commonwealth upon uploading, your image will follow the rules of the Creative Commons Deed. You agreed that,

  • You may specify a manner in which people must attribute the image to you,
  • The image may be used by anybody for noncommercial purposes,
  • Anybody who alters or builds upon your work must release their work under a similar license.

This means you should not tell anybody to take the image off of their user page, or threaten to "gnaw [their] face off" upon use. Anybody who chooses to use your GIF must give you recognition on their user page, should you choose to require that. —BazookaJoe 19:31, 17 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Text color

Hi! I noticed that you were wondering on how to change font color. I'm here to help.
You put <font color="#(a number)"> Some text you want</font>
Here are some colors to help.

  • #0000FF
  • #FF0000
  • #FFFF00
  • #FF6600
  • #660099
  • #00FF00
  • #FF99CC
  • #33FFFF
  • #990000

If you want to find other colors, I would recomend this website.

It's also against wiki policy. See the user page guidelines for info on this. Please mark the two images you don't want for deletion with the {{tobedeleted}} tag. Thanks. small_logo.pngUsername-talk 22:09, 30 Sep 2005 (UTC)
